Historic Iron Horse Inn

Our hostess, Rhianna was gracious and has great attention to detail. Our room was perfect. My partner and I spent a romantic weekend at the Iron Horse. The attention to detail made our weekend that much more special. We will definitely go back.

We stayed overnight in the ground floor Victorian Room. It was beautiful, as were the sitting room and front porch. Rhiannon was wonderful, great communication, gave us all the info we needed to make our stay so comfortable. Also a fireplace in the room but it being August in Missouri, no need to use it. There was also a ceiling fan and additional floor fan and we were very comfortable overnight. Fridge was stocked with apples, juices, yogurt, water, soda, cereal and tiny ice trays. Yummy scones, muffins, cinammon rolls and bananas were waiting outside our room very early the next morning, lovely breakfast fare! Plus books and DVDs in the main lobby, lots of choices of entertainment. B&B located pretty much in walking distance of the town and there is a trolley stop across the street. This was a best girlfriends' trip and we had a ball. Bed very comfortable as was the room and bathrooms (one has toilet and sink, other has sink, shower and tub. } Just a lovely place to stay. And bonus....I am a cat person and there were outdoor kitties lying on the steps, very sweet and loving (I have 4 cats at home so it made me happy to pet surrogate cats!)
