Very good experience, suitable for families or friends to travel in depth, very good, quiet town, too suitable for roaming, slow pace, and beautiful place.

This is our second time to Hotel Hansa and all because the staff were so lovely! Henry was accommodating and welcoming. We were a large group of 12 people and needed 6 rooms!!! And they did fantastic to ensure we were all dealt with correctly. The location is great with shops and supermarket within 2 mins walk. The coffee shop (Kontor Koffee) which is connected to the hotel and where breakfast for hotel guests are served. Breakfast is nice and light. Could do with more croissants (minor and very petty observation). Rooms are very spacious and very clean! Only other issue , its a max of 3 people in each room, so if you’re a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) bit of an issue! But as I was with other family it was fine , but would have had to have separate rooms just us. There is no hotel parking but a public car park within 2 mins walk and you can get discount on parking price. Overall this is now our go to hotel when in Herford! We live how comfortable we felt and were made to feel! Also they remembered us from the first visit so made us even happier!

Perfekt gelegen gegenüber dem Marta Museum, zur Innenstadt wenige Minuten, toller Rundgang über den Wall ganz um Herford herum ( 1Stunde). Sehr saubere Zimmer zuvorkommender Service, neues Hotel mit direktem Zugang zum Parkhaus!

Great hotel, clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent, literally across the road from the traffic free pedestrianised centre of town. I travelled by rail and this hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the station. Breakfast was excellent too, continental breakfast but very filling. This was my first return to Herford since I left the town with the British Army 40 years ago. I am likely to return and will stay at the Munchner Hot hotel again without any hesitation. The only negative was that the large bar area was not open, it has not yet reopened following the Covid-19 epidemic. I noticed on another review a complaint about bedbugs? All I can say is that I had no such problems and am very satisfied with the cleanliness of this hotel.
