Highly Recommend!
We stayed on the top floor, corner room (304?) of Villa Stari Grad. If you’re looking to step back in time (with all modern comforts), this is the place for you. Wind through ancient streets and enjoy the site of Forte Mare, built in the 1300’s, and St. Michel Archangel Church in Belavista square, both just steps outside the door. But the highlight of our room was the most amazing 180’ view of the Bay of Kotor. The castle is within view, as well as Igalo. The stunning snow capped peaks of Mt. Lovćen take the cake. One word of warning, no matter how you slice it, you will have to climb many stairs. Bring your good shoes, leave your roller bags and enjoy all the beauty of Hercig Novi.

The apartment is too expensive for what it offers. 100 euros per night. Impossible to arrive with suitcases directly by taxi, but endless stairs and alleys far from the main road, as shown in the photos on their website. Bathroom without bidet, dangerous wooden table because detached on the floor, noisy for noisy neighbors, slippery shower floor, no safe. Looking there is better.

Villa Stari Grad has very nice location. We spend a week in October so there was no crowd in Herceg Novi, the place was very quiet. In room everything is new, nice and clean. The host Suzana was very friendly and welcoming and she helped us with all the questions we had. We were in room 304 (Deluxe Double Room with Sea View) The room is amazing, the 180 degrees sea view is all you can ask for at the seaside :) We really enjoyed our stay. The bells of the church contributed the holiday feeling. We will come again for sure. We highly recommend this place and our room.
