It is relatively convenient to get to Cullersburg, the bus station and the central square. You can almost reach it by walking 500 meters. Take bus 2 to Knossos Palace. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, and the breakfast is rich and constantly improved according to our needs. The hotel can also help with sightseeing arrangements. Because it is difficult to go to Spinalonga Island in the off-season (it is closed on weekdays), but Mary helped contact the taxi driver, carefully planned the route and plan for us, and continued to discuss it. On the day of our visit, the driver also learned that there were temporary closures on the island. We are a group, so we can be open to us by the way, so that there will be no regrets in the journey!

The room is very good and the location is perfect, close to the bus station and taxi station, and the large supermarket and fried chicken next to it are great! I highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel in Heraklion. It also has free red wine and homemade desserts~ The only drawback is that there is no breakfast, but it doesn’t matter because there is so much to eat nearby!

La miglior scelta che si poteva fare. Si trova in posizione perfetta, due passi dal porto, due passi dal centro e vicinissimo al museo archeologico. Posto auto riservato utilissimo. Personale alla reception gentilissimo. Mary che ha fatto il check in è stata deliziosa. Camera veramente bella, ampia e ben arredata. Bagno altrettanto bello e ottimamente equipaggiato. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Se avremo la fortuna di tornare a Creta la tappa ad Heraklion sarà sicuramente in questo hotel

We had an enjoyable two nights at Lavris Suites. The room was spacious with a separate living area and a comfortable bed. The location was convenient - we had just arrived by bus and it is literally across the street from the Central Bus Station. The local bus (that travels to Knossos) also stops across the street at a small stop (not the main station). There is a full grocery store next door and a short 10 minute walk takes you to the city center and the wonderful Archeological Museum. There are plenty of restaurants in the center as well (recommend the 626 All Day Lounge and City Garden - good beer and food and a pretty garden area to sit). Our mission in Heraklion was to tour Knossos and see the Museum. The Lavris Suites provided a comfortable refuge while we accomplished that. Two days later and an easy walk across the street and we were on a bus to Chania. Thank you, Lavris Suites!

Relaxing and comfortable hotel. Great value. A short walk to the centre outside the famous city walls. It’s also on the right side of the city for the airport, port , buses to Knossos and further , Chania, Rethimon. Dimitris, Miltos and Mary are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in The Prince of Lilies suite which was very well appointed. We will return to Lavris and recommend.

Simply amazing decor to match the great history of Crete, particularly the Minoan civilization; clean spaces; and excellent communication for late arrival to the hotel. Perfectly located within walking distance to the Archaeological Museum, yummy seafood restaurants, the bus and taxi stations, if one wants to visit the birthplace of Zeus/cave or the famous monastery. The manager, his son, and Mary were very friendly and welcoming. It was wonderful to hear Mary’s historical knowledge of ancient Pharaonic and Hellas civilizations-- the bosom friends of the ancient Khmer civilization. Cheers!

Loved the massage by Mikela. It was a perfect end to my stay at the hotel. I would highly recommend. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. They gave us amazing recommendations of places my friends and I could visit whilst we were in Gouves.
