Service at the front desk was efficient. We are elderly and a young man who worked at hotel assisted us with our luggage upon arrival and refused a tip. What a shock.🫢 Both my husband I tried to give it to him. So great beginning! Give him a raise! The cleaning staff on the 4th floor was very helpful and courteous. The best part is the location. Everything you need is within a few miles if not across the street. This will be our return choice to stay.
I’m only sorry there were no warm cookies. They definitely should be given out on the weekend.

The Hampton Inn on Clay Road is off a busy road (Jefferson), overlooking a massive car wash (not scenic but never heard any noise). But it’s a great location for shopping and dining. Free hotel breakfast is great but Steve’s diner with their special love cakes (pancakes) is very close. Almost across the street is Palmers, a seafood and meat store that has ready to eat or ready to heat food. Wegmans isn’t far. And lots of restaurants. So, it isn’t a charming inn on a lake in the mountains. The rooms are freshly renovated and much nicer. The big ugly desk is gone. The tv is over a cabinet with a frig and a round table with two chairs is across. Great for working on a laptop, enjoying a cup of coffee, glass of wine, looking out of the window. The new layout makes the room seem much more comfortable and cosy. This Hilton tends to run lower is cost than other Rochester Hiltons. Don’t let the price fool you into thinking it’s “lesser.” Great value.

My husband had a performance in Rochester with his band; needless to say that we were exhausted entering the Hampton Inn after midnight. Luckily, Che at the reception desk was tremendously attentive, friendly and accommodating. He made sure that check-in was smooth, helped us when I needed an extra pillow, and spent a lot of time just getting to know us as people. Not only is he an excellent employee, he is a fantastic person in general - we spent a lot of time discussing life and what inspires us. It was exactly what we needed after a long night. The room itself was comfortable, spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious with great selection! We're looking forward to booking here again!

Awful. We booked a king suite. Floor was so sticky everywhere in the room that shoes stuck to it. Carpet dirty. Debris on floor. Ice machine broken. Overall, very old and dirty room. Front desk staff said they couldn't do anything to make up for the bad experience and to call the general manager. It seemed from the glances to each other upon hearing about the sticky floors that this was not the first time it had been reported. Called general manager 2 consecutive days, leaving messages and never receiving call back. Terrible Hampton, or any type of Hilton experience - worst ever. Manager does not seem to care. First time here and last. Save yourself disappointment and do not stay here.

85% Very Nice only 2 glitches.
The hotel and staff were all very, very nice!! Our room was nice and clean. Beautiful walk in shower. The King size bed was oh so very comfy, could have better pillows, way to soft, feather pillows smash like pancakes, no neck support at all. Breakfast Sunday morning was what i thought and looked like a delicious treat... I think the sausage was bad. Sunday Afternoon I became very sick, unfortunately not 100% sure it was that, however my partner and i had the same breakfast except the sausage. By reason of deduction. However it's a very nice hotel. One other glitch, we wanted to use the hotel pool, but the water looked very murky, like the filter needed to be run, but wasn't so we nixed that idea. For a 13 yr. old Hotel still in pretty good shape. Nothings Perfect.

Great stay at Hampton Inn, Henrietta NY
We were greeted with a smile & cheerful attitude when we walked in.We had a choice of floor.The room was beautiful & clean.Received a text asking if everything was ok & when I responded, we needed a pillow & blanket for pullout, we received it in 15 minutes.Beds were comfortable.Breakfast was hot & tasty. Every interaction with any worker was helpful (if needed) & met with a smile. 5 stars from a family.

Room was old and dirty. Room had an odor- (smoking and or pets). Air conditioner had dirt/dust/mold on it. The mattress was so old that you rolled to the middle of the bed.
