Run at all cost. This is not up to Marriott standards at all. Where do I begin, do I start with horrible customer service, or the ants in the room. Better yet horrible lighting, or the fact that I got sick from staying in this horrible room. The iron board was broke. The light over the stove never worked, the lighting in the room was extremely bad. Cobwebs and ants all over the place with nats flying left and right. One closet door that was loose it could have fallen on you. They left a sponge that looked like it was used to clean the toilet for you to wash dishes. This room was so bad that I got sick and still sick from the smell, the aroma whatever it is I am literally sick. I have been coughing and sneezing for 2 days going on 3. I the ice machine in the freezer never worked. 8 cubs for 2 days wow that's a lot especially for a heat wave. I won't even begin with the horrible customer service I received while trying to check in. That should have been a sign then. I have nothing positive about my stay here. Even the parking is horrible.

Rooms not clean. Random salt n pepper packets in closet. Ants on bedside table and other areas. Comforter had stains. Filter for AC was filthy. Asked for it to be replaced at it flared up allergies not done. Only 1 towel in bathroom when we asked for more we had to go down to get. This is not up to Marriott standards. Whomever, is contracted for landscaping needs to be fired. They left debris and blowings all over the place. Save your money and book else where.

In general, Residence Inns are pretty nice, but this one was not. The room was dark and gloomy and the lighting was harsh. The whole place was shabby in appearance, but clean. The refrigerator worked but the shelves were wet as if there was some sort of leak. The toilet flusher did not work (I jury-rigged a fix with a coat hanger). On the plus side--the bed was comfortable and the shower worked. And the place was very quiet.

This is the absolute worst Residence Inn we've ever experienced and we've stayed in numerous ones all over the U. S. Talk about a dreary dump. We chose this location because it was near to the facility where I was to have surgery early the next morning. The carpet was dirty, furniture old and beat up, microwave was dirty, even the door to the unit was beat up with scratches and dents. The property looked completely neglected like no one ever worked on the grounds, skimpy as they were. Was a depressing place to stay in a crappy ugly location.

This place is a dump!! BEWARE, it looks as if it was abandoned and then reopened. Ive never stayed at a Marriott that looks like this. Me and my family came down fir the race (Nascar) in Richmond. Marriott should be embarrassed to attach their name to this property. There were ants crawling everywhere, the sreps leading to our room were crumbling, if someone foot got stuck it would be bad. Their were cobwebs everywhere along with big spiders in them. Debris on top of the roof, this property has NOT been maintained in sometime, we did not want to atay but had no choice all hotels within the race were SOLD OUT. The manger Luke was very nice and tried to assist us the best way he could. It was his 3rd day on the job. RUN LUKE RUN. There was a stain on our comforter, ants crawling everywhere. A waterbug or roach ran in my cousin room, the ***** to their door was gone. The rooms would be very nice, they have full sise kitchens, but is in nees of a MAJOR UPDATE. Property has been seriously neglected. You couldnt sit outside, spiderwebs just everywhere. This should be a MOTEL 6 but think Ive stayed in better. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY.

We have stayed at this location in the past. It has definitely gone downhill. It is more like your own apartment and not a hotel. We had to ask for everything. We didn't even have a basic skillet to cook with nor the utensils. We had to ask for everything. This was definitely not a full kitchen. There was no cleaning during our stay, despite checking that we wanted cleaning every other day when we made the reservation. We had to ask for more trash bags, soap, etc. There were not even the little bars of soap to wash our hands in the bathrooms.

We have stayed here in the past. Well located for N/S transit. It has always been a bit “tired” but this stay took the cake. Dirty room entrance; terrible room cleanliness (dirty rugs, silverware, broken toilet roll dispense, non-functioning lights in the kitchen, etc.). I wouldn’t stay here again, believe that a refund is in order, and if there isn’t an immediate clean up, MC should consider pulling the franchise. It’s a dump, right down to the surly staff at the front desk.

The bathroom was dirty on my arrival. There were beard shavings in the sink, and the marble countertop had a smear of toothpaste. Bits of hair were also in the shower stall, and even a used towel was left hanging on a hook. In the nearby room where my friends stayed, the air conditioning was broken. I recommend that you AVOID THIS HOTEL.

Last minute one night stay. In town for kids sports event, decided to book the morning of, rather than drive over 2.5hrs each way home and back again. Simply put - this property should NOT bear the Marriott name. It is disgusting. Period. Rooms are outdated and dirty. Sidewalks are all uneven. Pool is extremely small, more like an over-sized hot tub, with a clearly unmaintained walking area around it. Buildings are clearly old, as if stuck in time from when this apartment-style hotel was in its prime. Not today! Had my entire family with me, so we paid the extra $$ for the two bedroom “penthouse” (as described in the Marriott app), only to find out it is really just an outdated second floor room with a loft and extra bathroom upstairs. Not a big deal, we needed the space. But the notion that this room is a penthouse, is laughable at best. The first room we checked into wreaked of ********* and cigarette smoke. We hadn’t even crossed the door threshold before being greeted by that awful smell. A quick call to the front desk yielded the usual apologies, and we were promptly relocated to another room. We did not stay in the first room long enough to even tell if it was clean. Unfortunately at that point, based on the property being so outdated, and the disgusting smell of first room, our expectation of the next room was pretty low - just don’t stink. While the second room did not smell as bad as the first, it was clearly a room that had previous issues…. The door and door jamb showed clear indications that this room had been broken into, perhaps repeatedly. The door hardware had clearly come off and had been reattached multiple times based on the amount of screw holes. The “safety” latch on the top was so loose that it came off in my hand while I was checking to see how bad it was. When I called the front desk to have it repaired, I was advised that maintenance had departed for the day and it would be addressed in the morning. I ended up using the butter knife from the kitchen to reattach it with the screws - it was actually tighter than it was when we checked in. Since my wife was not completely comfortable with that, we opted to buy a door security bar from Walmart as an extra precaution. It baffles me that Marriott is aware of this condition and has simply chosen to reattach the hardware rather than redo the door frame, and replace the entire door. Aside from the door, the room is simply as outdated as the rest of the property is. The decor is old. The plastic shower hardware is barely holding on. The red chair in the main room has several stains on it. Flipping the seat cushion only revealed more stains. We pushed it into a corner and didn’t use it, not even setting our bags on it. At that point, being as late as it was, we simply just set our mind to minimum expectations and hoped for a decent night of sleep, which we got. Can’t say that the beds were comfortable - they were not; can’t say it was quiet - it was not because the AC sounded
