We had never stayed at the Hampton Inn Hendersonville but were impressed by the customer service initially. We called from our prior hotel in Asheville before check out and Justin said he would get us in to a room. He said, just come over and the first room available would be ours. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a woman who became upset when I didn’t immediately and quickly give her the information she needed to look up our reservation. She then said she had a room she could put us in. I had originally chose a room in the back near the stairs thinking it would be quieter. The room she put us in instead was on the front of the building right above the entrance to the building, third floor right near the elevator and ice dispenser. Late in to the night even well after midnight and even over a white noise machine we bring with us and use, we could easily hear room doors open and close loudly. We could also hear guests filling their ice buckets. This would happen every 15 to 20 minutes or so and continued past 1 or2 am. We got very little sleep. I knew this hotel was a little older. The rooms are small. The furniture is dated and are things I would purchase at a thrift store. I would not recommend staying here unless you have no other options and or loud noise throughout the night doesn’t keep you awake or bother you.

Fitness center is adequate, nothing special. Of 2 cardio options one needed repair (bike missing foot holders). No bench for weight lifting. No healthy milks for coffee. Just ultra processed creamers. No vegan or healthy options. No recycling. Small pool. No jacuzzi. Customer service ok. No comparison to Hyatt or Hilton.

The usual Hampton Inn experience, with courteous staff, clean and well maintained rooms, and a solid breakfast. My one complaint concerns the surprising and distressing degree of traffic noise from the nearby road. If you book a room, ask for the rear of the building.

We stay at Hampton Inns frequently, but this one was very disappointing. We were on the 1st floor near the maintenance room and the exit door. Very early in the morning we were woke up to the doors banging as the maintenance man went in and out. We were there 3 nights, and should have asked to be moved, but we thought it would improve. We told the manager when we checked out. He said he was sorry, but nothing else. If you stay at this location be sure not to stay on the first floor by the maintenance room.

I stay at a lot of Hampton Inns all over the country (as well as other Hilton and Marriott properties) and this Hampton is, by far, the best of them all. Rooms and entire facility are immaculate and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Ahhhh!!! What a great overnight stay!!! I slept so soundly until late Thursday morning!!! Bathroom was so clean and met all my needs for toiletries. Bed was so comfy and soft!!! Front desk clerks were extremely friendly and helpful!!! What a great stay!!!! Thank you!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Hendersonville. The room was clean, the bed were comfortable and the check in was fast and easy. Because I was with my 94 year old mother, we stayed in an easy access room and the only thing that would have made the stay better was for the shower to be a walk in shower instead of a tub shower. It would have been helpful for the hotel to have an extra grab bar on the outside of the shower too. The breakfast was ok but the coffee was amazing and they serve that all day.

Manager rudely interjected himself into a conversation at check in of which he knew nothing about (pre-approved early check in) and continued even after it was explained to him. We were told a room was ready when I called as instructed and upon arrival was told “sorry, there isn’t one”. This was after driving all night and retrieving luggage and partially disabled husband from car. Packed everything back up and received a phone call 10 minutes later that a room was ready. Unacceptable behavior from a member of management. All other staff members were nice. He made an already difficult time even more so. Hotel needs updated. Seats in breakfast area had tape on them, others just looked dirty. Guests waiting in line to get coffee while 3 members of cleaning staff was getting theirs.

Need to get better hospitality and clean room. Requested to clean room At front desk and it did not happen. Reception was lack luster for Diamond and I had to request diamond stack and water. I usually get good service at Hampton.
