Best Western Plus Las Vegas South Henderson

BW is a famous American hotel chain, maintaining a consistent standard. This hotel is 15 minutes drive from Las Vegas and close to the airport. The hotel is not small, the price is very cheap, and the summer holiday season is only 500, including meals. Quiet in the vicinity, not far from the Chinese hot pot restaurant in the food court. If you have a car, it is recommended.

I work in television production, and I'm responsible for my crew's accommodations while on the road. I'm beyond impressed with the Homewood Suites by Hilton Henderson. It's very rare to say that, but in this case, they have bent over backward to help us secure what we need for our shoot. Porsha, in the sales department, could not be more pleasant or professional. She manages to keep up with our requests, in the nicest way possible. Keep doing what you are doing over there, Homewood Suites Henderson. We appreciate you!

Lake Las Vegas
My husband and I came to Hilton Lake Las Vegas to spend our 7th wedding anniversary. Check in went very smoothly. Shortly after our check in we received a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was a very welcoming surprise which we genuinely appreciated. We had booked a couples massage at their spa and were very pleased with their services. It was quite relaxing and exactly what we needed! Our room was very clean and quiet. We ordered in room service for breakfast and the food was very much to our liking! We’ve stayed at this resort several times prior and have always been pleased with our stay there. We will definitely be back!

We were not told at check in that we had to request maid service 24 hrs in advance. Can’t believe that a Marriott chain has stooped to this level, but ok. So the next day we requested our room to be serviced, nothing. This continued each day after requesting the service each day. We had to ask the front desk for additional towels and ended up throwing our used towels outside our door since they were in our way in the room. Totally unacceptable! The general manager was to be advised after our complaint to the front desk clerk. Surprise….we’ve heard nothing from the general manager! This will be our last stay at a Marriott chain.
Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas South

Nice hotel, clean, very friendly check-in from Jason. Be careful when booking as I thought I had booked the Hampton inn Las Vegas south ***** which is close to the airport and has a free shuttle. I accidentally, however, booked the Hampton inn Las Vegas south Henderson. This hotel is about 7 miles south of the airport with no free shuttle (40.00 cab fare). This was MY mistake (not the hotels) but easy to make. The hotel itself was great, check in was friendly and they accommodated us with a late check out as we checked in late. We booked the wrong Hampton inn and questioned why there was no shuttle from the airport but in return received a gracious welcome and an apology from Jason at check-in even though it was our own mistake. Clean room, friendly service. Well done sir, my apologies.

Poorly trained staff Will be the slow demise of this hotel. I stayed here a couple of nights ago. I was catching an early morning flight and decided that the Westin on the lake would be a great place for my final evening. I pulled in the hotel to see if there was any availability and what I encountered was shocking. I was told that I couldn’t just walk into that hotel and expect to reserve a room. I had to go find a computer and do that online. I asked but I’m a visitor this country I don’t want a smart phone and I don’t like paying for things before I see them. Does that mean I am excluded from this hotel chain now? The young woman behind the counter just looked at me like I was a complete moron and said it’s our policy you have to book online. I said I don’t want to book online I want to talk to a person. Her frustration showed and I just wanted to turn around and walk out. But I was tired and I only was going to be there for nine hours before my flight. She reluctantly asked for my ID and credit card which I gave her. Without saying a word she started tapping away on her computer and I stopped her a couple of minutes in and asked what is it that you’re giving me and how much does it cost?. She said well the only thing we have are a room with a double bed and no lake view. I said OK and how much is that going to be? In a very snarky attitude she said 279 for the room plus the resort fee plus taxes and that point I just stopped her. I asked for my credit card and ID back. I politely told her that I’m gonna go stand off to the side and I’ll be back in 10 minutes. When I return I’ll have a reservation for a king room with a lake view and a total cost of about $200. I stress to her that she could’ve done the exact same thing for me or better. I came back a few minutes later with my reservation code for my king room with a lake view with the $200 price range. It’s all great and wonderful that all these hotels are getting onto these reservation systems. I assume it’s saving them tons of money. But to me it just seems like missed opportunity. That hotel clerk could’ve went online and book me a room through those same people if she cared at all about the The guests and the company she works for. These Frontline workers that are meeting the guest one on one need better training. And they need to understand that they need to remain relevant or they will be replaced with an iPad. I don’t think I will go back to this hotel. It’s not the first time I stayed there but it may be my last.
