Had a bad experience the day I was checking out I didn’t really like cos I was supposed to be told about my room being changed n I had to pay extra money but I was not told n I got charged extra money cos the told me when I was about to check oh u have to pay which was really bad

Amazing facilities, team, food (breakfast is amazing), spa is very relaxing and cleaning is superb! The gym is also very nice. We felt very comfortable at Skarsnuten and the fact of having an amazing team (all staff is amazing) helps a lot when you are at a place far far away from home. They replied fast and detailed on emails even before arrival!! Big recognition to the cleaning team that made a perfect job everyday on our room and hotel facilities, everything is very very clean and well preserved. Thanks to all team

Hotellet som mangler kundeservice
Skarsnuten hotell var inntil nylig veldig slitent etter mange år i drift. Nå er det åpnet en kraftig utvidelse og det er bra. Standard på ny del er meget bra, men det er et par ting ift service som hotellet bør merke seg.
Innsjekking kl 17 er veeeldig sent. Rommet årt
- Vi mottok ved ankomst INGEN informasjon om (vi måtte stille alle spørsmål selv):
** Åpningstider for frokost i restauranten
** Internetttilgang
** Skioppbevaring /skirom
** Betalt parkering utendørs
Det er også spesielt at hotellet ikke har fikset rommet til kl 16 på ettermiddagen. Da var vi på rommet igjen, og de slapp å bruke tid på vårt rom.

Amazing hotel and staff. Easy ski in&out, very convenient on the slopes. Great view from rooms. SPA and especially sessions with Hannah was a real treat. Very good pizza and food. Highly recommend. Only fall back is you need a taxi to come back from apres-ski and if you dine in the town.

This place is a gem. Great views, great food, premium spa, and direct access to the ski slopes. We couldn't have been happier with this place. Breakfast is perfect with lots of options and a combination of standard and local recipes. The wine cellar is impressive and sommelier guided tastings are worthwhile.

Fantastiske ansatte og nydelig mat
KDette var en meget positiv opplevelse! Rommet med fjell utsikt hadde kjempegod seng med gode puter,håndklær og badekåper var myke og deilige. Kaffe på rommet er alltid ett pluss! Hotellet hadde en god atmosfære og minnet om en mountain lagde du kan finne i Alpene. Hotellet var helt fullt de tre nettene vi var der men vi følte aldri at vi sto i kø eller måtte vente på ting. Litt ventetid på serveringen til lunsj, men det var fordi vi spiste sen lunsj akkurat når folk kom til afterski. Maten var fantastisk! Vi spiste både lunsj og middag i restaurant Lynx og oss tre i mellom spiste vi oss nesten gjennom hele menyen. Alt var kjempegodt. Flotte råvarer og meget bra tilbehør. Pizza brødet og aiolien vi spiste som “forrett « var rykende ferskt. Vinlisten var godt pairet med menyen og prisene var gode.Frokosten var også flott.Alt av tilbehør og pålegg,varmt,ferskt brød, frukt og grønnsaker,smoothies,juice,ingefær shots og omelett laget på bestilling. Spa avdelingen var flott. Eneste var tøflene du fikk delt ut. De var livsfarlig glatte på vått gulv! Her bør det kjøpes inn slippers eller lignende.De kan jo også rengjøres og brukes igjen og igjen i stedet for å kastes slik som engangs tøfler. Miljømessig lurt også.
Skiheisen går rett på utsiden av hotellet,parkering er rett utenfor.
Men det som gjorde opplevelsen så spesiell var de ansatte! Maken til hyggelige servitører, resepsjonister,bartendere,vinkelnere,renholdere spa ansatte osv. kort og godt alle! Tusen takk for opplevelsen!

I usually never write a review before leaving the hotel,but this time I want to do it while I still have it all in fresh memory.We have traveled a lot in general all over the world but in Norway we have travelled mostly for skiing. The skiing in Hemsedal we were familiar with since many years ago but back then you didn’t have the possibility to stay in a hotel like this . The rooms,the views,the spa, food,the slopes just outside the door,but most of all : the staff! I usually I don’t praise the staff.Not because they don’t deserve it but because they,in a high end place like this are iexpected to be good. But here they are what makes the place! They are more than what you can expect . Friendly,charming sweet but most of all genuine.Emma,Margarita,Adonis,Stina are just some of the people serving us .The point is that we hope this place known the value they have in the staff and that they pay them accordingly! For us they made all the difference!
