Our garden room was lovely, very clean with quality furniture. The garden is beautiful. The host, Carol, was so friendly and helpful. I had mentioned on booking that we were coming for our anniversary, and she got us a card and bottle of wine; so thoughtful!! The breakfast was cooked to perfection, with plenty of choice. The location is ideal, right in the town. Would not hesitate staying here again, or recomending.

We had a fabulous stay here. Lovely room, quiet surroundings and close to all restaurants and the town centre. On site parking is always a bonus. Quite literally the best breakfast we’ve had at a b&b, freshly cooked and plenty of it. Our hosts were lovely, could have chatted all day with them. Very knowledgeable of the area. Could not find a fault. I highly recommend Stilworth House.

This was our second stay at Stilworth House, and it was just as lovely as we remembered. Our room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a true home away from home. The breakfasts were excellent… fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, setting us up perfectly for the day. We also appreciated the convenient on site car parking, which made exploring Helmsley and the surrounding area so mush easier. Carol and Frank are fantastic hosts, warm, welcoming, and always a pleasure to talk to. They're both genuinely friendly and have such interesting stories and local knowledge to share, which adds an extra special touch to the stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stilworth House to anyone visiting Helmsley, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

we enjoyed a two night reunion. Four of us from four different countries reuniting. England, Northern Ireland, Texas, and Papua New Guinea. Carol was the perfect hostess. In fact, our trip ended with a mini, personal crisis, and Carol went above and beyond to help us sort it out. shows that not only is she a strong business owner and amazing cook but also a very caring human being.
