This is a self-checking hotel, but they did not send you any information for the procedure. The facilities in the room are too simple. I found I left my blindfold in the room after I check-out. You cannot find the email address of this hotel. Only contact the hotel by phone. That is not convenient for us.

I was nervous about this stay given all the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! Check-in was seamless. We got the code emailed to us via ******* (the platform we booked through). Entry was easy. The room was clean. Yes, the showers do flood the bathroom, but that's because there's no lip. It shares the floor with the entire room. It won't leave the bathroom though, and they provide a squeegee. Weird, but all good. The soaps & shampoo they provide are okay. The toilet paper is rough, but that is minor details. It was very quiet. Curtains were fine. No issues on our end! Quite happy. We had a beautiful view from our window!

The hotel was no frills but clean. The rooms were so hot. The 2 hotel staff were always incredibly rude and very hateful. I tried to use a translate app on my phone, but she shoved my phone away. We have been in Iceland one month and this was the very worst experience.

Alles sauber und zweckmässig, self-check-in hat gut geklappt, Lage mitten im Ort und in Hafennähe ist gut. Keinerlei Personal oder Ansprechpartner vor Ort und auch keinerlei schriftliche Informationen über das Haus und den Service vorhanden. Wer nur ein Bett braucht, ist ok aufgehoben, aber schön, nett, freundlich oder gemütlich ist das dort nicht.

We booked a hotelroom and were allocated a small room in the Guest house without bathroom. No staff. No support. Only a telephone to ring. All common rooms were locked and no place outside the small room to sit. No lobby. In the room there was not even a chair, only two lousy beds. Horrible breakfast wiht very little and bad food. Nothing worked. When I rang a telephone number that was provided to discuss this the person that answered rudely disconnected the call. Keep away from this horrible and expensive place. Hey are ripping you off. Warn your friends.

There was no staff for check-in or check-out. We had a problem with the television and had to call a number to get someone to come over. Low season may account for the absence of staff, but the hotel was empty!
Breakfast was good.
