Absolutely delightful stay. The staff were kind, friendly, and welcoming. The food was good. The views were breathtaking! We had a party of five so we booked three rooms, the Bienne Arthur, the Loch Seaforth, and the Library Suite. All three were spacious and well appointed with wonderful views of the loch. If you are planning on staying for more than one night and can manage a few flights of stairs, I Highly recommend the Library Suite. As I said, all three rooms we had were lovely, but the Library suite has a massive parlor that was perfect for spreading out or entertaining other members of our party, as well as a separate bedroom, bath with large soaking tub, and a cozy reading nook stocked with it's own private tea service for quiet mornings. It was definitely worth spending a little extra. If I ever find myself back in Scotland I would absolutely stay at Knockderry House again.

My wife and I have just returned from a wedding reception and overnight stay at Knockderry House, and, having experienced what I can only describe as outstanding quality and service throughout our stay I wanted to pass this on to others who may be considering visiting this hotel. All of the staff were so efficient and pleasant, it made the whole occasion a real treat. Our room was a delight, and the evening meal was a wonderful experience. In particular, Laura exemplified the high standards Knockderry has and we shall certainly be returning.

Great location and views, friendly staff especially Laura who was very helpful and looked after us, good food, we spent an enjoyable couple of days exploring the area.

We booked tables for 11 people to have Afternoon Teas to “celebrate” my son who had just passed away. The Teas were fantastic and the staff were first class. Nothing was too much for the Manager who was great and very respectful, it made a sad day a pleasant experience.

We stayed for one night in a double room with a four poster bed. The room was really comfortable and looked to have been recently redecorated. It was spacious with two easy chairs and large bathroom. The dinner was delicious as was the breakfast. Above all the staff were delightful, so friendly and helpful. The hotel is located looking over the loch with beautiful views. We would certainly stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time here. The house is beautiful with a lovely dining room and lounge. The hotel is private and intimate and has a great vista across the Loch. The room was great, the service and food both excellent. It gave us a great opportunity to unwind in fabulous surroundings. Would definitely return! Thx to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

C'est un superbe endroit, très confortable. Nous y avons reçu un très bon accueil. L'hôtel est calme et très tranquille, à quelques pas du bord du loch long. Il est idéalement situé pour visiter les lochs de la région. Avec un très bon restaurant.

Superb and luxurious

It's a bit far but had to be one of the best and well worth it. It's so beautiful in and out and sits right on the lake
