Forest and james, we're the best staff that I think you guys have they went above and beyond anything that i've ever seen. They need a raise and definitely a promotion. Honestly, when we come back, we don't want to deal with anybody other than those two.

Out of all the places stayed from California up to Canada and back down through Montana, this was the worst.

The night front staff was very nice and accomodating. We were passing through coming from Glacier National Park to the airport and checked in very late but enjoyed our short stay. The breakfast in the morning was nice to have as well. I would recommend when coming through to stay here.

Front desk made me feel like a total inconvenience to check into the hotel. I asked for the WiFi password and you would have thought I had asked for something impossible. Breakfast was horrible and I should have went to McDonalds across the street. Very unimpressed.

Room was oké. But service at check-in was terrible. De person behind the frontdesk is not suitable for working with guests. When we asked about the extra costs for processing our card and the surprise deposit of 200 dollar he began shouting at us if we would swipe the f**king card. We couldnt find any information about the extra fee and the requird depost in our booking information or on their website. When we asked for a receipt he refused. It would not reflect the price we were paying for our stay. During our check-in he was also on his mobile Phone. Next morning when we checked-out the person behind the front desk was nice and gave us the receipt without any further questions. Never going there ever again.

Overall, the property was clean. The night desk employee could use some customer speaking skills. The biggest complaint that we had was the cleanliness of the room. There were long hairs in the bathtub and the floor between the beds had finger/toenail clippings scattered about.

Helena has a hotel shortage, especially during the tourist months, which must be the only reason why this place is in business. The desk agent was polite but clearly overworked. I alerted him to our A/C unit, which wasn't working while it was 100+ degrees outside. He scarcely had time to look at it while getting slammed with a lot of other guests, and by the time there was a chance to change our room, my kids had already fallen asleep. The manager was belligerent when I asked him for a refund for that awful night, citing how it was "inconvenient" for him, (gee, and here I was thinking *we* were the ones inconvenienced by a night of extreme heat!), but begrudgingly granted the request. Finally, the conditions of the hotel are filthy; look no further than the stained chairs in the dining room that will make you think twice about sitting down.

Loved the Comfortable beds, clean, friendly staff, quiet, good shower, very good breakfast. Recently remodeled, too. The price was right for high demand time in Montana. June is vacation time at the parks! Be sure to eat at Melaque Mexican two blocks away. Go early! Yummy!

Excellent location, nice rooms, friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Lots of restaurants and sight seeing in immediate vicinity
