The good: excellent location. Friendly staff. On site dinner restaurant is quite good, open only for dinner. Rooms as you would expect for the price. A little tired, but clean. The bad: no hot shower the 2 days we were here. Tried at 5am, 2pm, lukewarm at best. hallways have piped in air freshener that smells like your grammas perfume bottle that was in the bottom or her purse since 1963 fell on the floor and broke. Awful. Breakfast buffet is slightly below average for food, but problematic with procedures. It opens, and fills up fast, then the VERY hard working (and pleasant) server gives you a plate and silverware and the has to take drink orders! Insane when 30 people just sat down. Water came after I finished eating. Why not have a beverage station like most buffets?!

Stopped here for an overnight stay and some rest between travel from Yellowstone national park and glacier national park. Clean, friendly and accommodating. LOVED access to laundry. Amazing staff even shipped the iPad I left behind to me, too.

This is a very nice hotel with an outstanding location on the downtown pedestrian mall. The room was clean and comfortable, and we slept well. We could open the balcony window to get fresh air and to see more of the historic Last Chance Gulch view. We could walk to many delicious restaurants, the artist galleries, the bookstores. The only thing lacking was adequate Wi Fi. It was difficult to even load our morning news. We ate at the downstairs restaurant the first morning: decent but nothing special. There are more interesting options within walking distance. A parking lot is conveniently located outside the hotel. The desk staff was friendly and responsive, except they could do nothing about the weak WiFi! Yes, we will stay here again.

You need to be aware that the hotel staff will disregard your privacy and they’ll enter your room despite the do not disturb card being placed on your door. It’s not clear why they give you the option, so just know going here what to expect. Prepare to feel violated and question if your belongings are missing.

Housekeeping went in room when door was clearly marked for no service. Management didn’t seem to care when the issue was brought to their attention. Don’t expect your possessions to be safe from housekeeping even when you clearly communicate for them to stay out of the room.

The staff was extremely friendly and this really made my stay extremely enjoyable. My only suggestion is to improve the wi-fi service to the rooms. Everything else and everyone else on the property was excellent and I will be a repeat customer!
