“Wow, we got a spacious room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, fully equipped with all the amenities we needed, at such a great value! Right in front of the hotel, there are hair salons and plenty of restaurants nearby, making it super convenient. Overall, it was an amazing stay with excellent facilities and a perfect location!”

GGuest UserAfter visiting Dagu Glacier with friends, I opened Ctrip and saw this Gar Manor B&B. It is close to the scenic area, but the road up the mountain is a bit tortuous, a winding mountain road. Fortunately, the road surface is all asphalt and relatively spacious, not as difficult to drive as imagined. Although it is the rainy season these days, I didn’t expect the clouds in the mountains to be very beautiful, so it was not a wasted trip. The hygiene in the hotel can be said to be very attentive, and even those who are a little bit obsessed with cleanliness can be satisfied. Then the most impressive thing is the service of the housekeepers. They were very proactive in receiving us, and even their enthusiasm made us a little embarrassed. I heard that Heishui will be more beautiful in the golden autumn season, and I will come here to stay and experience it then.

Hotel is new, room is comfy and clean.
Designed with local style. It is surrounded in a quiet neigborhood.
As foreigners, we traveled by ourselves without tour, the owner took care and helped us a lot during our stay. They helped us to book taxi and even drove us to bus station to buy bus ticket to Chengdu. (As foreigner can't book the bus ticket online for return). Owner speaks english too. It helps those who can't speak chinese.
It feels like we were staying at our relatives home. Extra miles service.
Breakfast is simple but very nice.
We also had our dinner at the hotel for 2 nights food is nice too. Price is reasonable.

Tucked away in the heart of the simple ******* village of Guru No. 9, it's a world away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, each season is a breathtaking sight. A glacial stream flows in front, and pristine forests nestle behind, creating a natural landscape painting.
The B&B's spacious courtyard immediately captivated me. It's so relaxing to sip tea or stroll here. Such a spacious, garden-style courtyard is unique in Heishui County. The rooms are spacious and bright, elegantly and warmly decorated, and the bedding is so comfortable it feels like sleeping on a cloud, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
The warm and welcoming ******* host, with his humorous and attentive service, instantly makes you feel at home. It's a truly wonderful place to be. The B&B is also very close to the Dagu Glacier Scenic Area, just a few minutes' drive away.

SSIRINTHIPAfter returning from visiting Biepenggou National Park, our family of 4 stayed here to prepare for visiting Dagu Glacier National Park the next morning. We got single and double beds. There were heaters on the beds and in the rooms, which made our sleep comfortable and not cold. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The rooms were arranged in similar styles, but differently. The surrounding area of the hotel was quiet. There were no restaurants. There was a small grocery store in front of the hotel. The owner took us there. In the evening, we wanted to buy rice to eat with the food we had brought with us. The owner cooked rice for us without charging us. We felt very grateful and considerate. They also gave us some small souvenirs. Breakfast was rice soup, side dishes, steamed buns, and mantou. The dough was very delicious.

Transportation: It takes about 2.5 hours to take a taxi from Maoxian, about 5 minutes to drive from the B&B to the ancient glacier, and about 20 minutes to drive to Yangrong Had, but it is very difficult to get a taxi in Heishui. We only rely on the B&B owner to ask the neighbors to help pick up and drop off at the glacier. If you don’t drive yourself, you must arrange transportation before you get there.
Surroundings: There are no restaurants for several kilometers, so you either bring your own dry food or you can only eat at the B&B. I ordered a 200 yuan hot pot, which is a few vegetables and beef. The portion for four people is enough, but the taste is average.
Facilities: The B&B is ******* style, there is no elevator, it is a bit difficult to carry large luggage upstairs, and the corridor is very dark. It is decorated with solid wood, so the room is a bit damp, and the bathroom is a squat toilet, which is a bit blocked.
Dagu Glacier: We arrived at 1 pm, when there were few people and no need to queue. Tickets are expensive, but it is still worth going. It takes 40 minutes for the sightseeing bus to go up the mountainside. There are many bends along the way. Friends who are prone to motion sickness should take motion sickness medicine first. After reaching the mountainside, take the cable car. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The scenery of the snow-capped mountains along the way is very shocking. The top of the mountain is not as cold as imagined, and the altitude sickness is not as terrible as imagined. One or two bottles of oxygen per person are enough, but you must pay attention to slow movements, not running or jumping, otherwise it will be uncomfortable. Pay attention to anti-slip, people keep falling along the way. Be sure to bring gloves, you can play in the snow, and you have to hold the railing. I thought the cafe was very stylish, but the environment is far worse than expected. The view outside the window is also very ordinary, and the consumption is expensive. You can't see the glacier in February, and you may have to wait until the snow melts in spring and summer to see it.

TTJeffThis is a nicely decorated ******* house inside a small village. On arrival, the host greeted me with a warm welcome. The house is on the hillside but walkable. AarpakornRoom is good but the door of the bathroom is like semi see through so you might feel uncomfortable sometimes. Location is near Dagu gracier. Pork bun is good but not less choice kf breakfast. The staff at the eestaurant is really rude to me and my friends from the same trip. My friend ask for the noodle as a breakfast and she shared the bowel with me when she got up from the table to look for the sourvenior the staff came quickly to clean up the table although I still sat and ate breakfast with out asking any question like she intended to do all the time like want to force us to leave. The staff claimed that my friend was full but you should not do something like this if other people from the same group still sit on the table. Bad manner for me.
