Gute Lage, aber einige Abstriche
Die Lage direkt zwischen Hauptstraße und Plöck ist natürlich toll. Alles sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen.
Aber:
Das Hotel hat keinen Fahrstuhl, ist schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen.
Kein Frühstück und keine Parkmöglichkeiten.

If they change to new beds it OK
The location was very good on a quiet side street. The room was fairly spacious with a table and two chairs. To have a water and some coffee and tea would have been nice. The bed was overdue to be changed to a new one!

The rooms have no way to be locked from the inside and you will only get one key for the room. Meaning there is no way a person can stay in the room and (safely - think of a fire or other emergency) lock the door while the other person is out with the key. This seems like a small thing but it is not and made me give the location one start only.

We were very pleased by our stay at the Altstaft. It is a small boutique hotel that isn’t fancy but it is in great condition, super clean and in a great location near Bismarckplatz, transportation and the Main Street for shopping and dining. Walkable in 15 minutes to the funicular to get to Schloss Heidelberg. Would go back for sure.

Altes kleines Hotel etwas schwierig zu finden. Zimmer waren ausreichend groß ebenfalls das Bad. Die Lage ist top nicht weit zur S-BAHN oder Bushaltestellen. Direkt an der Fußgängerzone. Wir konnten alles fußläufig erkunden Nachteil parken teuer im Parkhaus und wir konnten das Frühstück nicht vor Ort dazu buchen

Winziges Zimmer, Bad und Dusche nur für sehr schlanke Personen zu benutzen, Frühstück mangelhaft. Übernachtungspreis viel zu hoch! Die Lage ist allerdings nicht zu toppen, direkt an der Fußgängerzone. Trotzdem würden wir das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.
