We booked 2 nights visit. Our guide was Tim who was just magnificent! He shared great knowledge of the area and animals and was specially fond of birds. We saw all the animals in the park and even saw the rare scene of cheetah taking down a springbok. Thank you Tim, that you made this so special and interesting adventure! It was a great pleasure to see animals and experience the wildlife with you. Rooms were very unique and had luxury appareance. Beds were comfortable and pillows were very good. Special mention to dinner and breakfast menu that is all a la carte and very tasty gourmet meals made in the restaurant. I would definately reccommend this game lodge.

Wonderful setting. Our lodge was amazing very well furnished and beautifully sited overlooking the reserve. Restaurant was excellent very nice evening meal and breakfast. Staff in both the lodge and on the safaris could not have been nicer. Highly recommend

Die Anlage an sich ist sehr schön, die Chalets liebevoll gestaltet, der Pool bzw. Die Aussicht ist super. Und unser Guide Kathleen hat ein so umfassendes Wissen und sprüht vor Begeisterung für ihren Beruf. Ein ganz großes Manko ist das Essen: wir haben bis her überall auf unserer Rundreise hervorragend gegessen. Was hier der sogenannte Koch fabriziert, ist einfach eine Frechheit bzw. Er/sie hat keinerlei Geschmack: Pizza mit Koriander, gebrannten Mandeln, Hähnchen, frittierten Zwiebeln use. (Welcher Magen soll das vertragen?. Und das sogenannte Dinner: bestelltes Steak medium - total durch ; mango prawn curry: eine totale Pampe: kurz ungenießbar. Meine Empfehlung: Aufenthalt und Getränke gut, aber bitte ein ausreichendes Lunchpaket mitbringen!

Wir haben ein Package für 2 Nächte inkl. Spa und Safari gebucht. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Der Guide für die Safari hat uns sehr wissenswerte Infos über Fauna und Flora erzählt. Das Spa war hervorragend in Form einer Rückenmassage. Das Essen war excellent.

This was a return visit to the Garden Route Game Lodge and it proved to be as great a visit as before. It is a very slick, well managed operation with all the friendly, happy looking staff going out of their way to look after you. Although relatively small there are plenty of animals to enjoy on the evening and morning drives.

Our experience was absolutely perfect! The game drive was amazing, and while it’s a bit unfortunate that the lions are kept separate, it’s completely understandable. The restaurant was fantastic, and the pool was wonderfully heated, making it so relaxing. Everything was super!
