The Taiga 2, Studio Apartment

Our studio rental was spotless and conveniently located—just a 20-minute drive from the Denali Park entrance. With a grocery store and 49th State Brewing Co. only a couple of miles away, the location couldn’t have been better. The hosts were incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth. The studio was located beneath another rental unit, which unfortunately meant we heard quite a bit of noise from above. Footsteps and movement on the stairs were frequent, especially during the early morning and late evening hours, and they often woke me up. While the space itself was clean and well-located, the sound carried more than expected, making restful sleep a bit of a challenge. That said, the space is quite compact. The internet was hit-or-miss, and despite the cool temps outside (in the 60s), the interior felt surprisingly warm. We ended up turning off the heat and cracking a window to cool things down. Still, it served as a solid home base for our Denali adventures.

Absolutely loved staying here. So excited they have a gas stove and Chicago cutlery since I'm a personal chef. The bed was super comfortable,location is amazing,love the shower. The owners are so nice and responsive. Plus three of the cutest dogs had to give him lots of pets. I did not want to leave. Beautiful sunset that I can see from sitting at the dining table! Perfect Stay My wife and I stayed at Taiga 2 during our two day visit to Denali National Park. We were very impressed by the excellent condition of the property. Everything was immaculate and looked brand new! This is a studio apartment so the space is relatively compact but that was hardly noticeable because the design was so well thought out. We had everything we needed, including laundry, and we were completely comfortable. What a gem. Proximity to Denali NP was excellent. Taiga 2 was the perfect stay for us on our 40th wedding anniversary trip through Alaska. We definitely recommend this property to any couple looking to stay in the area.
