The Dry Creek Inn is what we expect from a Best Western - no frills, a comfortable, clean room and an experience above Motel 6 but not quite the Marriott. We like to stay in the "hub," as they say and seek hotels walking distance to areas of main activity, like a Downtown. When I spoke to the person who took my reservation, she assured me the property was walking distance to the Plaza. Technically, I guess 1.3 miles is walkable, but wasn't exactly what I had in mind, particularly since it was 97-degrees out. The first room we were given had an overwhelming smell of bleach from, I'm assuming, the cleaning crew. It was so powerful that we immediately turned around and went back to the office for a different room. In Room #2 the smell was faint and we had to open a window and leave the door open (recall it's 97-degrees outside) to help the odor subside. The Dry Creek Inn provided us with a clean, large, comfortable room, at a nightly price about half of the hotels on the same street, and significantly less than a room Downtown. We would choose to not stay here next time in Healdsburg, but that has more to do with proximity rather than comfort.

The Dry Creek Inn is one of the nicer Best Western properties we've stayed at. It's clean, presentable and the price was right. The Dry Creek Inn is what you expect from a Best Western - no frills, a comfortable, clean room and an experience above Motel 6 but not quite the Marriott. The Dry Creek Inn was one of a few recommended by the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce when I called them. I asked for something close to the Plaza but more reasonably priced than one of the Downtown luxury hotels. When I spoke to the person who took my reservation, she assured me the property was walking distance to the Plaza. Technically, I guess 1.3 miles is walkable, but wasn't exactly what I had in mind, particularly since it was 97-degrees out. So this is a dated location but manages to avoid problems not requiring remodeling to solve. Most importantly as I use a CPAP machine I need a socket near or on the bed stand. None on either side nor close enough for my cord to reach. Modern locations have a plethora of plugs including various USB connections. This didn't. So Jenna from the staff scoured the site to find us an extension cord which worked fine. The staff was superb in every way The room was large, the bed was comfortable, we have stayed there before and will again.

We ate at Peppers food was great & close to the Hotel which was nice, our beds were comfy & internet worked great wish there would have been a hot tub & breakfast in the morning but other then that it was nice

Shower control needs to replaced. Stuck and hard to control temperature. Room could be cleaner. Staff was friendly location is very convenient
