Belle de Jour Inn

Just returned from spending 5 days at the Belle de Jour Inn and Healdsburg. This place is absolutely fantastic. It's so quaint and peaceful. Corinne and Darlene were amazing hosts that went way out of their way to make our stay in the area perfect. We truly felt like we were the most important thing to them during our stay. We stayed in the Caretaker Suite and it was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space to spread out. A nice love seat to sit in and sip wine while decompressing from the days activities, and a nice porch with seats to do the same. The bed was very comfortable, and I have a poor back, so that was nice. Temperature was great and easily adjustable. Such a nice room. The grounds are special. Beautiful views from anywhere you stand. We enjoyed the early evenings just having wine and being outside. I must've laid on the hill side for 2 hours and just looked up at the sky. We saw a bunch of quail running the property as well, it was so nice. Breakfast at Belle was incredible! Finding such a spread at any restuarant would've cost easly $100 for the couple. Additionally, they always asked what we would like and when we would like it ready by the day prior. We were able to start our day right and with home cooked pastries, eggs, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, muffins, coffee, juice, water......it goes on and on. I highly recommend this perfect B&B. I know we will return as soon as we can. Corinne and Darlene are relatively new owners I believe, but they have it figured out. They were so helpful to us. Corinne even made phone calls in the morning to get us lined up for tastings and other things. Her recommendations made the trip. I just can't say enough. 5 stars. One of our favorite stays anywhere.

We stayed here last October off of a recommendation from a friend. The place looks nice and the property is nice. Because of Covid, we choose to get a voucher for to go breakfast in town versus a smaller intimate setting inside the dining room. Upon waking up the next morning, I had 2 bed bug bites on the inside of my arm that were gross. Upon further investigation the room was very dusty and dirty. For $300ish a night I expected more and would not stay here again.

We just spent the most amazing weekend at The Belle de Jour Inn. What a fantastic place! The owners and staff were just top notch. The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were truly delicious. If you are thinking of Healdsburg for a weekend away this is by far and away the best place in town. Highly recommend.
