Calderwood Inn

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The house is beautiful and in perfect walking distance from downtown Healdsburg. We had a few interactions with the inn keeper that were less than desirable. I felt that she could have been more hospitable. She seemed annoyed by any requests. Also be advised that outdoor lighting is poor when coming home at night. It is hard to see. We had an outside entrance to our room that was very dark. When we left the light on it was turned off my housekeeping. Overall, we felt that the accommodations were very nice if we fended for ourselves

The property itself is beautiful and very relaxing. The location is great for walking to downtown Healdsburg. Our room was smaller than I had expected, but the bathroom was large and the bed was comfortable. We only ever saw any staff at breakfast or check in (which was 2-4pm), but there were no issues so that was ok for us. One negative was that our room had no windows other than the French doors leading outside. So at night we needed to turn on the AC. The wall unit was right next to the bed and blew directly over the bed and was loud. Probably only an issue when the weather is warm.

They gave our room away!!!! After calling several times to confirm our room prior to arrival for a late check, we arrived only to find out that the suite we booked was given to someone else by mistake. We contacted the ‘after hours’ number and it put us through to housekeeping. This person (very sweet and apologetic) contacted the Innkeeper that had been on duty that day and was told to inform us that we would have to “deal with it in the morning”. No one reached out to speak to us and we were left tired and confused. Although a standard room was available for the night, it didn’t have the amenities that we specifically asked for (iron, refrigerator, tub) and we unfortunately had to seek other accommodations (not fun when it’s in the middle of the night after a 5 hour drive). I understand that mistakes can happen, but what I don’t understand is that even after leaving a voicemail, text messages (that were shown to be read) and a hand written note, we were not contacted by anyone with an explanation and/or apology until well into the following week (this occurred on a Friday evening). Even at that point, all that was said was a standard apology and “Hope you’ll consider staying with us in the future” Such a disappointment

Our stay at this wonderful and charming bed and breakfast in the quaint town of Healdsburg was delightful. Tracy is a gracious host making sure you have everything you need. Our room was clean and well-appointed with a very comfortable bed. Every morning, Tracy and her staff presented a delicious breakfast loaded with variety. In the early evening, a plate of warm homemade cookies is sitting on a table for all guests. We really appreciated her kindness in leaving a full To-Go breakfast in the guest refrigerator for us to take early in the morning when we left. I highly recommend this wonderful gem of a place and look forward to coming back.

The Calderwood inn is one of our favorite places to stay! The rooms are lovely, bed cozy etc but mostly we always meet amazing people including the staff and the brekkie is delish! You won’t regret staying no at this lovely inn! oh and you get 1 free wine tasting!

Wow! What a beautiful and finely decorated house. The accommodations were perfect. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, everything was perfect. Complimentary glass of wine in the late afternoon (and cookies!). A delicious meal for breakfast. Centrally located to town and wine tasting. We'd come back here in a heartbeat!
