The person at the front desk during checkin was very pleasant. The room was a king suite at the end of the hall on the first floor and it was very spacious and very clean, including the carpet. Bathroom was clean and lighting was bright. I gotta admit this was probably one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed in.
It was also quiet.

This is our 4th time staying here when passing through KS. I always shop around but in the end, just come back here. Its clean, comfortable, quiet, breakfast is great, coffee is great, just a nice little hotel with super easy highway access. Never had any complaints staying here. Im not willing to roll the dice anywhere else. We will 100% be back.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights over Thanksgiving with my wife and 2 boys (15 and 11). The Lobby is nice and check-in was easy. We stayed in a 2 Bed Suite, which has a loveseat /sofa bed, mini fridge, microwave and sink in the average size room. Bathroom is average with shampoo and lotion stocked daily. The room was not very clean and housekeeping was below average. There is a fitness/weight room with 2 treadmills, elliptical, bike and dumbbell weights. There is a nice complimentary breakfast included. Although this is still one of the better hotels in Hays, it is trending down since it opened.

Our room was very clean and breakfast was pretty good despite us arriving about 5 minutes before it ended. I really wanted to post a review for Devin who was our front desk person when we checked in late evening. He was so pleasant and wonderful and went above and beyond in every question we asked him. Really exactly the person you want to see at the end of a long day on the road.

Check in was quick and easy ... we didn't arrive until 9:30 pm and the hotel shuts down pool and lobby at 10pm for travelers to get their rest. Pool was clean and cold, kids liked it more than me LOL Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, if you are a big breakfast person, plan on a restaurant.

Paper thin walls, could hear someone yawning loudly, talking. Around midnight another guest was pounding on the wall or floor for over an hour past midnight.
