Good value, good location and plenty of parking - great for a short stay while visiting people in the area or stopping over in the way to the Norfolk coast.

Sam is a great character. Enjoyed our stay. Our room was spotless. Lovely breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in was quick and easy. Parking was free and hassle-free, which is a big bonus if you’re driving.

Despite paying for early check-in the room had not been serviced. Room was vey hot, hotel does not have air conditioning. A fan was supplied but due to a water leak in the services area the electricity cut off during the night. Unable to have a shower in the morning and no spare rooms at the hotel. Breakfast was pretty poor.

My partner and I checked into The Travelodge 30th May - 2nd June, and, as per our previous stays, were welcomed by the reception staff. The room was comfortable, with a tea/coffee tray etc.. The shower etc., was adequate for our needs, the bed suited wonderfully too, what more could you ask for, for the price! Although not needed, it was nice to have a notice to place on the door, for new towels, and to know more Tea bags/coffee etc., were available at the entrance. Drinks at the bar were ordered, and it was nice to see staff pleasant, this made for a relaxing evening with arranged visitors. I highly recommend the Travelodge in Haverhill, we go each time there, at least twice a year on our visits to the UK, other times have been for longer, we would not go anywhere else! Pete. There was a security light outside our window that went on and off all night. The shower head was held on by tape. Breakfast was poor quality for the price paid.

Lack of staff in reception and in the bar, if you have a menu you need to make sure that you have all the ingredients, ie pizzas , ice-cream, all the basics, it's not rocket science
