Absolutely wonderful stay. The location, the service, the food were all excellent. The room we stayed in was its own bungalow, with a lot of space. The highlight was the activities director. We took a bike ride through the forest and did a birding trip. The hotel arranged everything for us to get from the ferry to the hotel and back. We wanted to go the cellular jail on the way back. They arranged for that as well. One very strong suggestion: the beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous, except for all of the garbage on it. White sand beach with turquoise water all marred by junk. (Which, unfortunately, is very common in India.) I encourage the hotel to have their staff periodically clean the beach right in front of it. The beach is public access, but if the hotel staff did it, it would make for a much more pleasant experience.

I visited this beautiful place in Jan 2024 for my honeymoon and even now, a year and a half later, I keep thinking about it. I’ve told so many friends and family about it, but just realised I never dropped a proper review. The property is just off Radhanagar Beach, which is seriously one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. They do their high-tea right there, on the beach, and the whole vibe is unreal. It took us a bit over 6 hours to reach from Mumbai, but once we were welcomed with music and a coconut in hand, we knew it was going to be special. We stayed for 4 nights and didn’t feel like stepping out even once. Between the spa, the forest pool, walks, scuba, and just relaxing—it had everything. One big highlight was the food at Turtle House—the Mexican restaurant. Vikas who manages the place treated us like family. Great food, even better service. The only thing I’d have loved is a room upgrade (have never been lucky with that despite being a regular Taj guest 😅) but honestly, it’s such a tiny thing in what was otherwise a perfect stay. This place is a gem and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

In diesem Hotel stimmt einfach alles und die Liebe zum Detail ist einfach unglaublich. Das Team liebt die Arbeit mit den Gästen und das Resort. Dieses Hotel hat alles übertroffen, was wir bisher erlebt haben. Wir kommen wieder und wenn *** 6 oder 7 Sterne geben könnte, würde ich diese geben!

Taj Exotica havelock is one of the most peaceful and relaxing stays I’ve experienced on Islands. What made it even more special were the friendly staffs, especially Veera Lakshmi in the front office and Shubam in the restaurant, and all staff members provided good service to us. It’s such a relief to find a luxury resort that warmly welcomes pets without compromising on comfort or service. The staff is incredibly warm, and the property is spacious enough to roam with their cycles freely, with natural setting . Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind with their furry companion in a five-star island retreat.

We had a great experience, the property was very beautiful. The best thing was the hospitality of the hotel employees. They had a very welcoming gesture. Starting with the spa, I had my best experience with kalpana. Then the housekeeping person balman was very helpful and active. The chef made us try some very tasty regional food in the scarlet date night. Rajeev and shubham always guided us to the best. Thank you team taj for giving us the beautiful anniversary stay.
