The Argyle Luxury Boutique Hotel

We stayed at The Argyle, Hatton purely on the recommendation of our travel agent, Explore Vacations. All we asked for was an offbeat hill resort — and what a gem they found! We went in without reading a single review, and what unfolded was a truly unexpected and unforgettable experience. Hatton itself is serene and untouched, but The Argyle elevates that charm to something magical. This resort isn’t built just with bricks and cement — it’s built with heart. The people here are what make it extraordinary. Every staff member, from the front desk to housekeeping, radiates warmth. Their motto, “to exceed expectations,” isn’t just a phrase — it’s a lived reality. Every interaction felt personal, every smile genuine. We stayed in the Campbell Suite 444, hands down the best room in the house, with a breathtaking view of Adam’s Peak right from the bed. The wind howling through the hills at night adds a rustic symphony to your stay — a reminder that you're deep in nature, away from the noise of the world. Our kids loved the warm pool, and we all swam in the rain and mist, wrapped in the chill of Hatton’s weather but embraced by the pool’s comforting heat. To top it off, the team surprised our son with a birthday cake — a beautiful, thoughtful gesture. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and designed with taste and comfort. Every little detail is taken care of. And here’s our kids’ verdict — Place: 11/10 | Room: 11/10 | Service: 15/10 | Food: 10/10 | Staff: 20/10 (Yes, those are real scores from two very happy little travelers!) Excellent hospitality and great locations. The maintenance of the hotel is very good and the good amenities. The staff is very kind and supportive. The 360 view point of hotel is picturesque. Rooms have basic necessities in good condition.

We had a fantastic stay at this family-friendly hotel. The facilities were excellent, clean, spacious, and perfect for kids. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their exceptional customer service truly made our stay memorable. The food buffet offered good quality meals, though a bit more variety would be nice. Still, the dining experience was pleasant thanks to the attentive restaurant staff. Highly recommend for families looking for comfort, great service, and a warm atmosphere.

Mesmerizing place! Rooms and restaurants are great and definitely a must visiting place. They have a great service. I have been there for twice and I feel the same awesome hospitality from them. Tip - don’t forget to take a photo with Shiva, he is a good with portraits.

We have just returned from a 15 day tour of Sri Lanka, and of all the hotels we stayed in this was our favourite. The one thing that stands out at this hotel is the staff, each and everyone of them went out of their way to ensure that our stay was everything we wanted it be. I could not single out anyone in particular as they were all outstanding. They even noticed that I was due to have a birthday a couple of days after our check out, and on departure they presented me with an extra present.

An absolute gem in Hatton, 5 star luxury with very good and friendly service. The hotel was immaculate and well maintained, clean and the heated pool was lovely made even better with the wonderful scenery around the hotel. Rooms were very good and spacious, well appointed and amenities provided. Food was served buffet style during my stay and the food quality was very good, even if the range was slightly limited. But no complaints as all the standard fare was available and was great tasting
