Hat Yai Kho Hong Hotels

It is highly recommended to stay at this family-friendly hotel in Hat Yai, especially if you're traveling with children. Although the hotel might be a bit far from the city market, I used Maxim, a local ride-hailing app similar to Grab, which is cheaper and very quick in finding a driver. The room was quite spacious, and I loved it very much. It featured a bathtub, a cold air conditioner, and a small balcony with a view of the surrounding area. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's night ambiance at the swimming pool, where a live band played soothing music, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Regarding breakfast, I found it not particularly recommended due to limited options available, which might not satisfy those looking for a variety of choices.

Stayed there solely for it's location that is near Hatyai ICC for the Hatyai21 road race event. Quite accessible to walk for food, convenience store & laundry. The toilet amenities were incomplete because there is no toothbrush. The bathtub were kinda old school and lacked hygiene. Hot/Cold shower were on point cuz it's steady and fast. The bed are hard while the AC worked perfectly. Thai only powerpoints, no USB output.

I really like and am satisfied with this trip... The environment is nice... The service staff was also very enthusiastic... The hygiene is also very clean and comfortable... My children all love... Thank you for your service attitude, which made us have a happy and comfortable journey...

The receptionist is kind. The room is clean and tidy. However, the room is not soundproof. There is noise from people in the next room. The Wi-Fi signal is not strong. If you don't care about the environment, this hotel is another recommended hotel and suitable for relaxation. :)

I booked 2 rooms for my family getaway during the school holidays. The room furniture and toilets looked old and could use some refurbishment. The location is convenient—about a 10-minute drive to Lee Garden and Greenway Night Market. Parking is quite limited, with only 6 spots available in front of the hotel and around 10 more in the open parking lot across the street. It's on a first-come, first-served basis. If you return to the hotel around 10 PM or later, most of the parking spaces are usually full, and you’ll likely have to park by the roadside.

When we arrived, we had to wait for 40 mins to get our room checked in which was supposed to be 3pm local time, when we checked out, we passed the down payment 300 baht receipt to the receptionist and she was impatiently asked me to sign the receipt before returning the down payment. Service was not up to the level. Not asking for top notch service but at least some simple manners have to be there.

I stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range. The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier. Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat. As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out. Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice. Btw the coffee n tea pastries is just a cupcake and milo powder

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel near Prince of Songkla University Hat Yai and had an excellent experience. The hotel is impeccably clean and offers a high level of comfort, making it easy to relax and unwind. The staff are exceptionally nice and go out of their way to ensure guests feel welcome and well taken care of. The location is fantastic, with Sri Trang Market nearby. This market is a gem, offering a wide variety of affordable options, from delicious street food to unique local products. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel provides everything you need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel was very clean, the environment was great, and the staff provided excellent service. The breakfast, in particular, was fantastic and offered a wide variety of options. I especially enjoyed the chicken soup rice and fish soup rice – they were prepared differently from what I'm used to, and the fish soup rice wasn't fishy at all, which was a pleasant surprise.
