Wychmere Beach Club

This review is as a guest of a wedding. We had a great time with the most amazing food and bar service. All of the apps were plentiful and dinner was delicious. Everyone could t stop talking about how great everything was. This place is absolutely beautiful and the views were incredible.

Wychmere is beautiful, and the staff could not be friendlier! Everyone is ready to greet you with a smile and will always ask if there is anything you may need. Our suite was perfect for our family, beautiful and clean. We’ll definitely be back!

We attended a family wedding at Wychmere beach club this summer, and it was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were treated so special. The front desk was so friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. The rooms were spotless and well appointed with luxury items. It’s clear to see that this organization knows hospitality to the fullest! The wedding on the beach was magical, and the reception afterwards had water views from every angle. The sunset is one that’s hard to beat!! Thank you, Wychmere, Beach club, and Harwichport for such a memorable weekend!

The rooms were very clean, very comfortable and the stuff was amazing. We arrived early and were able to enjoy the beach, pools, restaurant and bar. Our room was even available early. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely return next year.

Our stay at Wychmere Beach Club was very nice. The room was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the location, the beach was beautiful, even though the weather was not warm enough for swimming. I would highly recommend Wychmere.

The location and grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the wedding and reception we attended there was truly amazing, including fabulous food, a gorgeous reception building, and a reception staff that went the extra mile the entire evening. But our stay at the resort wasn't nearly as wonderful, however. The front desk staff was cordial at best, and we frankly just didn't feel very welcomed after having paid over $450 for a one night's stay in a room that was supposed to have "sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean." (Technically you could see the ocean from our room but it was a couple hundred yards away and there were parking lots and buildings between us). I probably should have read the fine print when I booked over a year ago as none of the pool and outdoor facilities were open yet (they were scheduled to open Father's Day weekend and we were guests the prior weekend) and there was access to food or drink. Aside from a basic serve-yourself continental breakfast the most that was available the other 21 hours of the day was bottled water which by the way was our only "welcome" amenity. We were certainly grateful that within a short walking distance there were plenty of convenient restaurants in town. It would seem that a resort of this level could certainly kick it up a notch with their room guest service when they have an otherwise stellar wedding and reception reputation.
