Winstead Beach Resort

Wonderful Stay! We spent 3 nights with Winstead Inn on Parallel Street over Labor Day weekend. The grounds are beautiful with attention being paid to colorful landscaping and privacy. The common areas and room were very clean and attractive. We stayed in the Pool Suite which had a large deck overlooking the pool area. It had a large seating area and kitchen. Because it is an older building the stairs are narrow but manageable. If you have difficulty with stairs it might not be the room for you. A benefit of staying at the Inn is that you have access to their pool but if you prefer a beach day you can use their Beach Resort location which is very nice as well. Their pool is heated - i went in at 5PM when the weather was a bit cloudy and 69 degrees and it was wonderful. Its centrally located giving you a good pivot point to PTown or Upper Cape and its only about 1/2 hour to the Sagamore. Highly Recommend.

Our stay was wonderful! Clean and charming accommodations, friendly staff, and the location right on the beach can’t be beat. Loved the chairs and umbrellas both on the private beach and back patio. The owners thought of all the little touches so you have everything you need for a nice family get-away. Loved that we were with walking distance to town for local shopping, delicious eateries and cute coffee shops. Very relaxing — we’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I have been going to the Beach House at the Winstead on the average of 2x/year since 1997. The owners and now the managers (thank you Adam) always do everything they can to make our stay special and always succeed. It is a beautiful place right on Nantucket Sound and, in our estimation, can’t be beat.

The Winstead Beach Resort is a lovely and well-situated inn in Harwich Port. The rooms have everything you need, the breakfast is varied and satisfying, the atmosphere is relaxed and calming and the service is unobtrusive. You can easily walk to downtown Harwich Port for shops and restaurants and access to the beach is easy, whether you are joining family or using the inn’s private area. One of my favorite spots is the porch/deck where there are many areas for quiet reading, a glass of wine or any outdoor moments of relaxation before or after your day at the beach. You might consider the rates high but I consider it a great value, given its location, amenities and ambiance.

Nice clean, quiet and quaint in. Loved the porch at night to rock, the private beach and pool fantastic! Loved the morning coffee and breakfast! The Winstead team was so helpful and friendly!

Excellent staff, and a wonderful location. Our room was spacious, well appointed, and had an excellent bathroom. The breakfast in the morning got us off to a great start each day. The coffee was ready early and it was delicious. The pool was lovely with beautiful flower beds all around.
