I just wrote a long review waxing lyrical about this fantastic hotel and posted it to the wrong place LOL. So fantastic is this hotel and the hosts im inspired to write this review AGAIN. We loved our stay the hotel overlooks picturesque Haruru Falls and river. The hosts are generous and caring. Every room has a view of the river and the upstairs 2 bedroom apartments are spacious with amazing Outlook. Our bed was comfy and clean with everything you need. Linens crisp and fresh. Special thoughtful approach to hosting with complimentary snacks and a decent bottle of milk...no stingy bottles here...would be back in a heart beat and bring the family. Thank you Michael, Campbell and Tree.

This is a must. We stayed in the camp ground and the best views of Haruru Falls. So pretty at night when it is lit up. The bird life is fantastic..Moreporks at night. The owner, Michael, is one of the nicest friendly people. So welcoming and helpful. He will be working on a few areas and restoring the gardens as they are a little neglected. It does not take away from the charm.

We had an amazing three-night stay here, enjoying the local area. The campsite is location is spectacular with an amazing waterfall, which our campsite faced, it is amazing to have as a backdrop. The staff were incredibly friendly, the owner helped us plan a trip to a local vineyard for lunch. So relaxing I would definitely go back.

What a wonderful place to stay! Michael gave us an enthusiastic reception with very helpful suggestions of places to visit. My wife and I had a unit overlooking the river and falls -- a million-dollar view! My adult children had a similar view from their campsite just below the motel. Would happily return.

A lovely motel, we were made to feel very comfortable by Michael and his team, first class service/good local knowledge and lovely bonuses like the play area and kayaks for hire. The view from our room was stunning, it was lovely sitting outside in the early evenings. We’d happily come back

I love this place! The motel units are really spacious and perfect if you're traveling with children. A very well stocked kitchen, large TV with streaming facilities, good internet, beautiful views over the lagoon and waterfalls and a fabulous pool that the kids loved. The Kayaking (free) up to the waterfalls and a swim in the lagoon was fantastic. The beds are comfortable and the showers have great pressure. Michael and Campbell are the best hosts and they will go out of their way for you. They have spent a lot of money updating the units since we were there a year ago and we will definitely be back!

This New Zealand campground exceeded expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable from the start. Nothing was too much trouble for Michael and Campbell. Arrived late at night and food was provided. They were the best motel hosts we had during our month long trip. Recommended visitor locations and restaurants. Superb location. Can’t recommended them highly enough.
