Fairfield Inn Hartsville

Very unclean and unkept property. Terrible representation of the Marriott name, especially being the only Marriott-branded property in town. I checked in on Mar 26, only to find an unflushed toilet, and hair behind the tub shower curtain. The only elevator available was broken.

First let me start by saying this hotel helped us during a rough time .. Shameka (hope I spelled her name right was amazing. we had drove 8 hours thru a hurricane and had a hotel booked in Columbia SC and we got to that hotel they had cancelled our rooms I had 4 children with me and had booked 2 rooms can you imagine driving 8 hours and they just cancel your rooms without any notice. we called everywhere in the area and no hotels it is now 1am and we called this Fairfield Inn in Hartsfield and this awesome lady Shameka answered our call and said she could help us but she was 1 hour and 15 mins away from where we were we took it got there and she had everything ready for us .. she was amazing her empathy and customer service above and beyond we appreciate her so much

The hotel is clean and staff are really accommodating and friendly especially Amanda at the front desk and Miss Ebony the chef who prepares the delicious complimentary breakfastes. The rooms are run down and in need of upgrading. They offer free parking as well.

As far as Fairfiels go this one is average. It's a decent place but their problem is housekeeping. My room was okay except for the sticky stuff on the desk, the bathroom sink looked like a cup of coffee poured out and not rinsed off, same with the toilet that needed to be cleaned then flushed. Breakfast is okay and on time.

Sandre and i stayed here with her aunt daphne on our long trip to NE. nice beds and ac. Some long black hairs in plaves in the room but not a big deal but then people stared at sandre when she wokr up for hef continental breajfast buffet as she stood in thr line and fixed a plate. Aunt Daphne brought her hardboiled eghs like usual and i snuvk out to the Rooster doen the street before the woke up so maybe it was just something only sandre experieced? has anyone expeiebced this here? Thanks for your southern hopsitality! probably wont come back ever

The hotel is new, with everything clean and working well. The new room layout, different from older Fairfield Inns, is great, very comfortable and quiet. The gym was excellent for a hotel of this size, with good equipment. The staff was helpful and the breakfast tasty and fully stocked. Recommended for anyone as comfortable, well priced lodging.
