The check in was easy and clear instructions were provided about the facilities. Clean room with comfortable bed. Unfortunately there was no WiFi in the room that I stayed in and no mobile phone coverage on Vodafone for calls or mobile data. WiFi was available in the main building which had a bar and restaurant. The price of the room was very good.

Third hostel stay during this fine spring weather in the UK. Outstanding hostel with all areas exceeding my expectations. The only negative was trying to work out what the symbols mean on the electric cooker (no manual). Sure to return as the location is in a beautiful area for cycling ( I was part of a group riding the local trails).

Excellent trip. Staff professional, breakfast great,lounge and grounds lovely. All had breakfast which was great. Resorted our faith in YHA food. Overall great trip -we will return. Special thanks to the bar team that kept us topped up all night.
