Hartford County Hotels with Pools

Very good hotel, the front desk staff is very friendly, the location is convenient, the transportation is convenient, opposite the big supermarket, next door is the car rental company and the ruth steak restaurant. There are also 2 big gun shops next door. Will stay again next time.

The reason I use the Rodeway when I am traveling to Connecticut for work is because Donna at the front desk is so amazing. She has the biggest smile when I walk into the lobby and more importantly she has my room ready and waiting. She is kind friendly and efficient. She makes every visit feel like home. Thank you Donna!

The noise of the window air conditioner is a bit big, the other is good, the service is not bad, because we did not have a fixed double bed when ordering (only the standard room may be double bed may be a big bed room, the hotel twin room has no more ), Ctrip immediately coordinated without success, but the service desk knew that we lived so awkwardly, and gave us a bed for free! The floor in the kitchen wasn't exactly clean... maybe cleanish, but not clean. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The last night, I woke up with blood on my neck and a dark spot above it. I discovered that it was a spider. Twenty minutes later, I saw a pretty good-sized spider in the bathroom that I had to kill with my shoe. You might have a spider problem at the hotel. The staff was pleasant; to be fair, I did not tell them about any problems. It's a nice place to stay and very convenient for the medical treatments I was having.

If you own a car and buy food, drink and daily necessities in advance, it will be good. It is suitable for those who want to live at home. It has a small kitchen, wet and dry separation in the bathroom... The air conditioning temperature is controllable, and the bedding is comfortable. There is no ancillary facilities such as a hotel lobby, and there is a simple breakfast. It’s pretty much the same as an average American family breakfast. Coffee, milk, eggs, hot oatmeal... That's it: you buy some daily necessities, add luggage, and live comfortably ”at home”. Therefore, go to Target before moving in. It is suitable for you to stay for a long time if you have children studying nearby. Remember! You must have your own car.

Parking is available, and there is a gas station opposite the hotel. The front desk is average and the attitude is not very good. There is a free bus to the airport. Please tell the front desk when you check in. When you book the bus, they will notify you.

I recently held my 50th High School Reunion at the Marriott. We chose this location because it is close to the airport and I had quite a few classmates flying in the for the event. The evening was a stunning success! The details were arranged with Octavia, the Catering Manager, who worked with me and chef to provide the best product possible that would fit within our small budget. During the event, my expectations were exceeded by the exceptional service provided by Joyce, who was my main contact for the event. She was assisted by Tamiya and Ruby, who were my servers, along with Tina the bartender. Tamiya and Ruby were well organized with the timing of the food service and my program, and quietly performed their job to perfection. Tina kept the drinks flowing and the crowd well entertained. Four awesome women who gave me and my classmates a night to remember! A special Shout Out to Joyce ... I am a retired professional Meeting Planner who has traveled the world and managed meetings for 500+ people. I can tell you that Joyce is most definitely at the top of my list of hospitality staff who go above and beyond without being asked; she just instinctively knew what I needed and when I needed it. She was professional, friendly, efficient and definitely ”knew her stuff”... but most of all, she was kind. I highly recommend this hotel for any functions - business or personal - you might need to manage or attend. They treated my little group of 50 like we were a big corporate function, and I am grateful for the courtesy and respect they showed me and my classmates. They made me look good!

Spent there 3 nights. Rooms are more or less clean, but the staff is very kind and helpful. There are very good restaurants nearby. If I were to complain-there would be two things I would mention only two things: hearing/air-conditioning units in rooms-they make terrible noise (especially at night). And the second is that the hotel urgently needs renovation- peeling paint in the bathroom, toilets either. Basically, was not able to enjoy my Diamond benefits.

We had an error on our reservation that was our fault...mistakes happen. When we realized our error, I called the general manager and she was so helpful in putting everything right for us. She really went out of her way to put the customer experience first and made sure that we enjoyed our time in the Hartford area. Some pros and cons Spacious Room (stayed in a double queen suite with pull out couch). Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Overall, facility and room was very clean. Good value for the cost. The facility felt safe. Security went through the parking lot slowly down each row at night (twice that I saw.) However, the pool was disgusting. The water was foggy to the point you couldn't see the bottom step. There were several chunks of hair floating in the pool and a straw. (Big bummer since we traveled with kids to a place specifically with a pool.) The room itself was big but had a stuffy, mildew smell. Since none of the windows open there was no way to air it out. The odor was strong enough to wake me up a few times in the middle of the night. The view of the parking lot and dumpster leave something to be desired but it your just looking for a place to rest, no biggie. The rooms with odd numbers have a view of a pretty building.
