it was okay. nothing spectacular and not under whelming.

I had high expectations for this establishment given its advertised 4-star rating, but unfortunately, my experience did not align with that standard. While the ambience and décor create an appealing setting, the overall stay was disappointing due to significant issues with cleanliness, hygiene, and essential amenities. The room itself was average, though the view from the swimming pool area was quite pleasant, especially at night. However, several maintenance and service-related issues severely impacted my stay. The sliding door did not lock upon arrival and required repairs. Parking was disorganized—I was initially directed to one spot before check-in, only to be moved again later. The most concerning issue was the lack of hygiene in the room. The bed linen, especially the pillows, was visibly stained and not clean, which is completely unacceptable for a 4-star-rated facility. The towels and bath mats were also stained and not properly laundered, further raising hygiene concerns. Pillows should be replaced immediately to align with the standard expected of such an establishment. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities promised on the website. There was no hairdryer, no proper dressing table with a mirror for grooming, and the kettle had no compatible plug. Furthermore, the available two-point plugs did not work. The air conditioner leaked water, the shower glass and bath window were cracked, and the couch was visibly dirty and marked. While the staff were friendly and helpful—an absolute highlight of the stay—the overall state of the accommodation does not reflect a 4-star rating. Given the severe cleanliness issues and the lack of proper facilities, this establishment does not currently meet even a 3-star standard. Unless significant improvements are made, particularly regarding hygiene and maintenance, the advertised rating is misleading. I will try out the breakfast and spa tomorrow, and hopefully, it will make up in a sense of the experience so far.

Looks and reviews are really deceiving. The property looks nothing like the pictures the rooms too. The towels are almost next to yellow with stains. The toilet water pressure is low making it hard to flush. The bedding too was suspect, looked like a harbour for bugs. They had no shower caps which is an essential, whilst trying to get the shower cap I still had to hunt for the staff. Even tried calling the landline which ran and went unanswered. Day 2 there was no electricity and no one bothered to inform us about that. When I went to go ask one of the staff casually said do I not see that there’s a truck outside dealing with the problem. Not saying that’s the worst, we tried ordering food and we were told the generator has a problem. We were supposed to stay 2 nights only stayed one night cause wow I couldn’t take it any longer plus the thought of being woken up the next morning again by loud music was really not my cup of tea. The star rating is very questionable. I’m very appalled. Had a terrible experience.

The smiles and service from Cocomo staff is my highlight. Shout out to Jeanette, Irene and Rose who made our stay so comfortable. The warm pool makes any day a pool day. Guesthouse is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. Massages and relaxing and refreshing too. Highly recommended!
