We stayed at the Shore house from the 4th of August until the 8thof August 2024. At our arrival we were greated by Margaret that showed us around. From the room with a large balcony , we had wonderfull scenic view on the lake and the surrounding mountains.The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The same applies to the bathroom that comprises a shower,a bath, a toilet and wash bassin and cupboard below. Based on the information received from Margaret we recommend using bottled water or to boil the tap water when clean the teeth. Margaret also took note of our request for breakfast. The quality of the food was good . The location allowed us to easly access the Ann Van Dyk Cheetah center where we received a guided tour by a passionated young guide.(We recommend ), as well as the Cradle of Humanking in Maropeng that we also recommend. In the nearby surrounding they are several restaurants with a good food/price quality ( Pica Pau restaurant-Belize Beach Club, the Komos Café) .

Brilliant little hotel! Great location, views are amazing. Very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Tranquil and super relaxing which is just what we wanted! If we’re in Hartbeespoort again, then we will be back!

The location was so beautiful, secure, and very close to the dam (walking distance). The room was so beautiful and clean. The view from the room was breathtaking. We had breakfast brought to our room and it was so good. The staff were so friendly and helpful from arrival to departure. We will be going back very soon.

Your place guys is the place to visit wow the breakfasts in the mornings mhhh I loved it the dam next to house nature swimming pool thanks again guys. I'll come with the whole family next time to visit

We had a lovely stay at The Shore House. The staff was very welcoming, the breakfast was nice and the room was very lovely. They had booked us a room facing the Dam. We wouldn't mind booking our stay with them again.

Very peaceful and leisurely. You could hear the lions from the reserve park nearby and the mountain and dam views were amazing! The house is located deeply within the Kosmos residential area, however, their food delivery services were extremely convenient.
