The hotel is a converted country home located in the heart of Hampshire.
Plus - Rooms are a good size.Friendly staff. Location. Private parking. Clean and tidy.
Minus - The building is tired and in desperate need of investment. Evening dining is limited to pizza. Breakfast lacks variety and is often cold if you are not early.

What a lovely place. We stayed one night for a birthday party. The bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was, albeit small, nice. Went back for seconds. We had a ground floor room which had it's own patio - enjoyed a coffee on the bench in the morning. Lovely friendly hosts as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely charming old property, incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts, lovely grounds, probably the best pizza I've had in my life and fantastic breakfast! Lovely touches, like leaving cold drinks (alcoholic and soft) available in an open fridge for guests who come back in late at night, using an honesty system for payment.
Room was clean and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate coming back here again. Loved it!

Beautifully decorated and so clean, even the tv remote control. Breakfast was tasty and was self service from 7am - very useful for trades who start work earlier than someone on a leisure break.

Every Cloud has a Silver Lining!
We had a one night stay and were shown up to our attic room on arrival. Then the heavens opened and it poured! Unfortunately, the ceiling sprang two leaks, one by the television plug and one just by the door. It was very heavy rain indeed, with hailstones, thunder and lightning.
Our hosts upgraded us to the king's suite (top right, first floor on the front view), which was much more luxurious and even had a four-poster bed.
Breakfast was a good, full English. In the large room where we ate, there was an art exhibition, with various artists represented. Very interesting and the whole experience was enjoyable.
We hope that the owners get the roof fixed soon but it probably won't be tested like that for a long time to come.

Lovely stay
What a wonderful place to stay. Very welcoming staff and a know upgrade. My room was huge and had a beautiful four poster bed. Lovely breakfast, great value for money
