Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire

We stayed at the Four Seasons Hampshire over New Year’s (arriving new year’s day) for four nights – our second visit – and it was just as magical as the first. The hotel strikes the perfect balance of luxury and family-friendly, which is so rare for a five-star property. From the moment we arrived, the team made our little one feel completely at home. We love the way they involve children in seasonal activities – the hunt around the grounds was a particular highlight. The kids’ buffet and dedicated menu are brilliant touches, and the fact that kids under a certain age eat for free is such a welcome bonus. The rooms are incredibly comfortable with a thoughtful layout that really works for families. The kids’ pool is a total game changer – warm, fun, and a great place to burn off energy whatever the weather. Our three-year-old is still asking when we’re going back so she can go to the kids’ club “on her own” (last time, we had to stay with her!). We’re already looking forward to returning in September to make that happen. Cocktails are excellent, service is faultless, and while I’d say this hotel is very much geared towards families – which we love – it may not be the best fit for couples looking for a quiet, grown-up escape. Overall, it’s a standout choice for families who don’t want to compromise on comfort, service, or experience. We’ll absolutely keep coming back. Friendly staff. Alleyway in reception was very helpful in assisting us with a reservation for a spa day and ensured a very welcome and smooth check in. Treatments were very good and lunch was most enjoyable. A bit disappointed with the main pool area. Not very relaxing when you have young children jumping in and out of the pool and playing games, and the sauna and steam rooms are quite small!

I stayed here for a relaxing leisure break with my wife. The food and service was of a high standard. The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel boasts lovely grounds, which were great for walking along the nearby canal. I was impressed with the staff at the Spa and it was one of few spas where they do a decent deep tissue massage. (Many thanks to Yuni). Other staff members of note included: Rohith Mathew for his very professional table service and Rebecca Chan for her cheerful bar service. Yes, the stay was very expensive but we had a well earned break.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Four Seasons Hampshire! This resort is incredibly family-friendly, making it the perfect getaway for parents with young children. One of the highlights for us was that kids under 5 eat free at the buffet, which was such a lovely bonus. The water park was outstanding and perfect for our 18-month-old — safe, fun, and very well maintained. We visited over Easter, and the special Easter activities were truly memorable. The Easter egg hunt, Easter disco, and balloon maker kept our little one entertained and added a magical touch to our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were incredibly helpful and even arranged a late check-out to accommodate our daughter’s nap schedule, which we really appreciated. Plus, all the spa facilities were open to guests, allowing us some relaxing downtime. Overall, the Four Seasons Hampshire exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to return for another family holiday!

Excellent service very attentive staff. Owl walk, fly fishing and horse riding all fantastic experiences. Simon and his birds are one of a kind. Keagan gave us an amazing lesson. Wild carrot was lovely as well. The room was spotless clean. We will be back
