Nice hotel, friendly staff at the counter and helpful as well. Theres a bus from evenes airport to thon hotel and a short 5 min walk to the hotel. Breakfast is good, there is also an option to do lunch takeaway

Das Hotel ist direkt neben einer Bar und man hört bis spät in die Nacht Musik. Das Bad hat nach Abfluss gestunken.

Zimmer Bad und Bett sauber und in Ordnung. Hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, feierlärm auf der Straße war angekündigt. Konnten bei offenem Fenster schlafen, wen mövenschreie stören sollte in die Alpen fahren. Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Grosses Frühstück unter anderem mit handgearbeitetem Spiegelei, eingelegtem Hering, miniberliner und echter Butter. Gegen 7:30 konnten wir frühstückend ein hurtigschiff ablegen sehen, etwas später kam ein zweites. Frühstücksservice freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. WLAN klapperig, obwohl ein Router über der Zimmertür.

Der Check-In war schnell, freundlich und effizient, das Zimmer guter Durchschnitt, nichts Besonderes, aber sehr sauber und von guter Qualität. Die Lage ist perfekt, um einen Spaziergang an der Promenade zu machen, wir waren nur eine Nacht hier, auf dem Rückweg von den Lofoten nach Tromso, war eine gute Entscheidung. Hervorzuheben ist das wirklich exzellente Frühstück, riesige Auswahl qualitativ hochwertiger Speisen, einfach toll.

Staying at Scandic Harstad is at least at an ok room rate and a well tasting breakfast, with that said, the room was very clearly overdue for renovation, the cleanliness on the bathroom was poor with dust and built up residue in the corners. The internet connection was really poor, the speed was OK, but the coverage is so poor that you will disconnect at regular intervals. Do not stay here if you want to work from the room or stream anything. The casting functionality on the TV does not work. We had to buy an HDMI to get connection to the TV. When we asked if the Casting functionality on the TV worked we got told off in a strict manner by the receptionist that we should have asked earlier. Furthermore the Hotel was under renovation, we were placed in the middle of rooms that were being fixed and the very noisy work started at 7 each morning. We were not informed about this when booking or at check in. Not particularly nice when you are on vacation to have to get up this early.

Scandic Harstad have everything you need. Location is great, friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Room was nice and clean.
