Clifford Gardens Motor Inn

Large clean rooms - a little dated but very good value for money. We have stayed here a couple of times lately and as it suits all our needs we will be back and we also recommend this place to family and friends. Staff are happy and friendly and it is only a short drive into the main business area.

Close to everything but rooms are not serviced daily and laundry area very dirty

Dirty Tired no attention to detail. AC growing mould, TV remote been held together with grey dirty tape. Sheets stained, mattress was like a hammock. 4 times I went to the reception because we could not log on to the internet at no point in time were they prepared to come to the room to see our issue. I was told there was a booster. Could not of been working. Do yourself a favour it's a beautiful City and lots of accommodation don't go here.

Tv was mostly unwatchable, internet was soo slow programs stalled or completely dropped out. The A/c was poor, inspection revealed the filters were choked with dust and the insides were in need of urgent servicing. Shower taps continually dripped. A 3 bed room with 2 mismatched bowls and only 2 mugs.

There was one positive about this place and it was the friendly man who checked us in. Lovely bloke. He must be an employee as the owner wouldnt seriously show his face in such a manner. My mother told me the old gem if you cant say something nice say nothing at all but I need to say that this place is very run down and apart from just needing a refurbish all the basic bits and pieces are broken or dirty. I really don't know where to start from the broken plastic rubbish bin which they could replace from across the road at the shopping centre anytime to the broken Towel rack to the broken hair dryer all low price things that can be easily done. It wouldn't hurt them to check the cupboards and fridge when they clean the room if I can say clean they need to run a damp cloth across surfaces and cupboards and the fridge etc to get rid of previous people's spills. The linen and beds were very good.though.oh the water in shower fluctuates from boiling to cold with no rhyme nor reason.

It was good not to have smoking neighbours as I have experienced with other Motels. Clean and very spacious rooms. Comfortable bed, I would definitely stay here again.
