Hyatt Place Harrisonburg

Late night arrival after another hotel was booked. So glad we did. Check in was so easy and lobby is beautiful. Hotel is brand new and modern. Easy access from 81. Rooms are super clean and spacious. Real glasses and mugs. Mountain views in the distance. Would definitely stay again! Do not think twice book this place

Very clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxation areas. Pet friendly..NOT AT ROOF TOP BAR. BYOB outside by fireplace or fire pit. Outdoor TV to watch games.. no sound but who cares. BYOB and oder wings😎 nice outside. Room 201 FANTASTIC!

Nice common areas but bathroom was not as clean. The restaurant staff was not nice. It is a very well planned and beautiful hotel but I think it may be going down. Please be mindful of room cleanliness and train waitresses to be approachable. Was disappointed

Clean nice modern room with comfy bed. However the floors are cheaply made.. you can hear someone walking above you.. thump thump thump thump. Also was asked to be put in a quiet area but i was in a room next to the elevator. To summarize good hotel with poor construction of the floors and below average customer service.

Beware. Unlike other other Hyatt Place properties this one charges $8 for breakfast. Even Hyatt's website says breakfast is free at Hyatt Places. The rooftop on-site restaurant is good and has good hours. Even the little "snack-bar" in the lobby has decent stuff and is open until midnight. Noise level of the hotel was on the loud side.

The hotel has significantly upgraded its facilities since my last visit. Loved the room and the casual dining.

Fairly new property that is very clean, comfortable, spacious and close to campus. Hotel was fully booked due to JMU Family Weekend, but rooms opened up about a month before and I was able to book one night using Hyatt points. Points value was incredibly reasonable considering the room rate for that weekend was $783/nt. We stayed in a 2QN room with a sitting area.

Located on a hill right off the 81 freeway, this a new property located in the center of Harrisonburg. Our room with two queens had a spectacular view from the hilltop, and was very spacious.

I have usually had excellent stays at Hyatt abroad but here it was disappointing. My wife used her wallet at night. We left in the morning and discovered it was left behind. No one has made any attempt to look. It's a straight negative--it's not possible it was not there. And yet, there was no where else it could be. Breakfast is CLEARED by 9. Many people were told to go away. No one seemed in the least interested.
