Oh boy, buckle up for this hotel rollercoaster! 🎢 Let’s dive into this hotel experience that’s as mixed as a bag of trail mix – you know, the kind where you’re excited about the M&Ms but then get a mouthful of raisins. 😄 The guest room? A modern marvel! 🌟 The check-in experience? Let’s just say it was about as exciting as watching paint dry. 😴 Come on, Hyatt! You’re supposed to be the cool kid on the block, not the awkward teenager who can’t give someone directions to their room. And the breakfast? Let’s just say it’s perfect if you think cardboard is a food group. 🥣 But hey, the room’s so nice, I would come back! Just don’t expect me at breakfast - I’ll be living it up at IHOP or J’s Bagels around the corner. Because sometimes, you gotta rebel against sad hotel eggs! 🥚🏃‍♂️

The staff is very accommodating, the room is spacious, & the breakfast is awesome! Stacia, the breakfast attendant is so kind, patient, and helpful. The General Manager is very helpful. My family and I were returning from our vacation in NYC and Martha’s Vineyard and needed a hotel near the interstate. This place was all we had hoped for and more. It was the best hotel breakfast we’d had in quite a while.

Just ok. Spent one night. Easy access off the interstate. Friendly staff. Quick check-in. The room was smallish for a deluxe king with a sofa. The pillows were of mediocre quality as was the bed. Bathroom cleanliness was fair. Bath mat was literally a towel that had been cut in half. There was a huge noisy fly in the room that fell into our pillows when we were falling asleep. Breakfast in the morning was $8 - surprising - as breakfast was free at the Hyatt we had just come from in Athens, GA. Harrisonburg is a charming town, we will try to stay in the center of town next time, but this place will suffice if you’re looking for a quick stopover.

I wanted to update my review from the last time I stayed here, but it appears I neglected to submit it. This place is the BOMB! We travel from SC to NY a couple of times a year and this has become my new halfway stop. The hotel is new, and clean, has friendly staff, and is right off the highway. I received an obligatory text asking for any special requests and to my surprise when I answered the text at 6 in the morning they answered back. I think they really cared. You have many choices in the area for hotels but what makes the Hyatt so special is their food and dining options. The rooftop bar/restaurant has breathtaking views of the surrounding area. On both my stays the bartenders were outstanding. On our recent visit our barkeep Claudia overwhelmed us with her version of an old-fashioned. The food on the limited menu is 5 star, and priced reasonably. we had the pork belly with some kind of turnip puree and brussel sprouts. The portions are small but the flavor is big! We met some locals who weren't staying at the hotel but were there for the bar and the food it is that good. We then went downstairs to the bar/dining in the lobby. We ordered wings and fries and they were delicious, ok so the fries could have been hotter but after the old-fashioned and a beer who cares? Prices were reasonable and we didn't have to venture out for meals. I was also impressed with the quality of ingredients they used and it appeared they served local. The Hyatt Place in Harrisonburg should be duplicated all over America, they offer outstanding value, clean facilities, friendly staff, and outstanding, healthy food options. We'll be back, again and again and again.

This hotel is lovely and was a welcome dream stop along the way on my roadtrip. I highly recommend it! The staff was very kind and helpful. My room was spotless, modern, had all the amenities I needed and the bed was super comfortable. I enjoyed a relaxing stay here.

Beautiful hotel that looked brand new. Really nice room, great bathroom with nice shower. They have an amazing rooftop restaurant and bar. The ambiance was so perfect and cozy, I never wanted to leave. Gorgeous sunset over the Shenandoah mountains from the rooftop.
