Staff was friendly & our 1-bdrm suite was clean, comfortable, & larger than average. But the fare was over $200/night, parking was additional ($5/night), breakfast was additional, & the wifi was slow. We had two closets, one hanger in each. And it was noisy at night, altho to be fair the hotel was full. We were on an upper floor, so the noise wasn't from the bar in the lobby. When we first arrived & tried to ck in early, offering to return when our room was ready, the front desk receptionist told us the computer system wouldn't allow it, nor could she call us. We'd have to call the hotel. We called later & were allowed to ck in almost an hour early w/o charge. On checkout, I went downstairs for a luggage trolley & asked for our final receipt. Again, the computer system wouldn't allow the receipt to be printed until we were entirely out of the room. Another odd thing: Our suite had a large empty space on one wall with some marked-up paint. That was where a desk used to be. No desk? When I inquired, I was told management had removed the desks from all the suites. Little annoyances. But very good location for JMU. Advice: Lots of hotels in Harrisonburg. Check & compare.

I stayed at this hotel several years ago when it was a Comfort Inn. Some things have changed, some things remain the same. The room was clean and quiet and plenty of towels were provided in the bathroom. I know there's an effort to save money by not providing maid service daily. I'm okay with using the same towel a couple of times and I don't care that the sheets aren't changed, but at the cost of the room I think at the very least the bed should be tidied up and the trash emptied every day. The sign in the room indicated maid service was provided on the 3rd night. The trash was emptied after the 2nd night but at that point it was kind of silly since I was leaving the next morning. The room no longer had a coffee maker but I was assured there was fresh coffee ”24-hours” in the breakfast area. I have an odd sleep schedule so I did get a cup of coffee at nothing o'clock in the morning but it was lukewarm. Fortunately the room still has a microwave so I was able to heat it up. I did request a ground floor room and that's what I got so I could easily wheel my bicycle into the room. This is something I really appreciate. The breakfast buffet seemed fresh and well stocked. Getting to it is difficult. It's in plain sight from the main highway but unless you know where the little side street is to turn even the gps was confused. And the employee at the front desk was really trying to help me get there but she just wasn't clear in her directions. Overall it was just okay and if I visit Harrisonburg again, and I plan to, I will find someplace else to stay.

Wonderful Hotel – Check-In was seamless – room had 2 Queen comfortable beds – very quiet hotel – the complimentary breakfast could use some work – first visit they ran out of plates and a week later they again ran out of plates and peanut butter. Smart TV was a nice touch – I like seeing these in rooms now Otherwise – great hotel and would return!

Franco and Kimberly were working at the front desk and were incredibly helpful. Whether we needed toothpaste or cookies, they speedily met our needs. These two exceptional employees made our weekend and drastically improved our overall experience. The rooms were pretty clean and had good sound insulation. Overall, this was a great hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Passing by the local university to visit a friend for a temporary stay for one night, looking at the hotel with a high score, it is said that it was the best hotel in the local area a few years ago. Located in the university town, the environment is good, there are many restaurants near the left, and there are many other places in the United States that are very crowded and have to go a few kilometers away from the hotel. It is still very convenient.

Was a quick overnight stay while passing through town.. Room was clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and Breakfast was decent with multiple options . I was pleasantly surprised . Price was reasonable . I have paid a lot more for “fancier” hotels that ended up being a disappointment . Would definitely recommend! A little disappointed that I couldn’t get Netflix on TV but not a deal breaker
