Luxurious en suite bedroom with a patio that spills out onto a serene garden with an immaculate swimming pool. I always appreciate small hotels that offer gym facilities for their guests. The breakfast and supper was honestly superb with the beef and beetroot burger on Friday night up there as the best burger I've ever indulged in.

Friendly small lodge with lovely gardens. Family -feel. Was close to my friends and I could walk safely to them. Food was home cooked, well presented and tasty Bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Great for a business or holiday stay.

I can’t speak more highly of Ballantyne’s Lodge. It was my first visit to Zimbabwe and stayed at the Lodge for 8 nights whilst on a business trip The whole team are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for them. From the moment you arrive, to the time you leave you are looked after and made to feel very comfortable . I loved the concept of the Lodge and it has such a relaxing vibe . The breakfast is freshly cooked to order and the evening meals delicious Thanks very much for looking after me and please can I have the same room when I return later in the year 😁

I am a traveler who traveled and is traveling across our planet, Balentine Lodge is one of the best places I ever stayed. The setup, the location, the atmosphere, and foremost the staff and the owner Shirely. I stayed there for over two and a half weeks and the reply to all my requests was always yes and it included a smile. It was a home away from home in the true sense of it. To top it all is the food the two chefs are fantastic and the food is fresh and tasty either for breakfast or for dinner. There is only one place to stay in Harare and it's Balentine Lodge. Thank you Shirelly and the staff, I miss you all already!

If you want a home from home This is it. Polite pleasant staff Good service all round and would recommend this place to anyone expecting a pleasant relaxed stay in Harare away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful surroundings and spacious accommodation

Ballantynes Lodge was my cozy home for three lovely weeks while I was in Harare for business. From the moment I checked in to the bittersweet day I checked out, my experience was nothing short of delightful. Shirley and the incredible team are the kind of warm and friendly folks you wish lived next door. Seriously, they’re so accommodating and charming, I half-expected them to offer me a cup of tea as I walked in! The service? Top-notch. The food? Exquisite! (I think I might need a gym membership just to recover from my culinary escapades—hahaha!) And the accommodation? Absolute perfection. Honestly, my time at Ballantynes was probably the best experience I’ve had in ages. The team made my three weeks away from home feel comfortable and worthwhile. I have used this fantastic lodge many times over the past 12 months for business visits. From day one I have been treated like a returning family member from all the staff. The rooms are all unique and very comfortable. The food is of a good standard and they always pull out all the stops to cater for my particular needs. If I ever visit Harare for pleasure I would most definitely stay there. Thank you Stephanie and all your wonderful staff.
