8 on Oregon Boutique Lodge

Fantastic hosts - warmly welcoming, ready for a friendly chat and advice where to visit. The rooms are modern and comfortable with plenty of space. Best of all is the balcony with fabulous views over the town and the mountains beyond. Great to sit with a coffee and watch the birds feed below.

Great location to the downtown (a little hill walk home). Quiet, great view down the valley. Hosts were awesome and inviting. Breakfast set up was lovely. Recommendations for where and when to go to eat were spot on. Definitely would stay again.

Allways people make the difference. Thanks for a very nice stay , however it was only one night, and the nice chats with Dave. Beside all the view from the terrace is one of the best we ever had. There are „good vibes“ in this place, and we would like to come back.

We spent a wonderful couple of nights at 8 on Oregon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodge has beautiful views from the decks and a lovely garden that attracts the native birds. Jill and Dave's hospitality is second to none - they are friendly and welcoming. This is the perfect place for a peaceful escape; it's within handy walking distance to town with its cafes and restaurants, and to the hot pools. Would thoroughly recommend that anyone who is looking for a relaxing, adult only place to stay chooses 8 on Oregon.

Great place: very friendly and helpful owners, beautiful, well equipped rooms with terrific view from the terrace over Hanmer Springs to the hills opposite of the valley. Nice, well kept garden (good chances too watch bellbirds and Tui). Overall: just great!

Staying at 8 on Oregon was a truly luxurious experience. The room was gorgeous, the view was spectacular and the hosts were lovely. Only a short stroll into the picturesque town. I highly recommend staying here, although 1 night was not long enough.
