It is more convenient to go to Doi Inthanon and Doi Suthep than to stay in a hotel in the city. It was Christmas and New Year's Eve when I checked in, and it was particularly difficult to find a chartered car to Doi Inthanon. The female boss at the front desk who could speak Chinese (it seemed to be) kept helping me call and find a chartered car driver. She was very patient.
