Hang Dong Ban Pong Hotels

We stayed 3 nights here. Everything was perfect except for the mattress and pillows that were uncomfortable to sleep in, we couldn’t get full rested nights of sleep for all 3 nights and had neck aches the next morning. Besides that, the location can be pretty far so it would be ideal to get a local driver’s contact who can pick and drop you but at a higher price than Grab. The staff are extremely polite and friendly, the pool was beautiful and everything else was perfect.

The hotel is not far from the Chiang Mai city center. Just 30 mins or less by a car. The atmosphere in there is so refreshing, full of flowers and trees. There was a carnival buffet event on the date we stayed and it was so fun! The room itself is so cute and comfortable. We did a request of some rose petals on the bed and they did it perfectly (see pictures).

Rooms with balconies have better views than rooms without balconies. There is a short climb from the parking area to the check-in area, and another short walk from the check-in area to the room. This time, the hotel staff were responsible for carrying the luggage. Without help, it would have been a very difficult journey. The room is very special, but the equipment is old. The original teak structure building in northern Thailand, next to Suthep Mountain in Chiang Mai. The environment is very good, the hotel restaurant is delicious. The kids love it. Very suitable for family trips. The spokesperson of the hotel's image - Lincoln, is a very gentleman.

This resort is located in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by green mountains and clear waters. You can hear birds singing in the early morning and fall asleep to the chirping of insects at night. As soon as you walk out of the room, you can see trees, flowers, and even a stream flowing by, as if you are in a paradise. When I got up in the morning, I met a little lion out for a walk. It was such a surprise! Facilities and Rooms The room is decorated mainly with logs and natural elements, which is simple yet warm. There are comfortable seats on the balcony where you can leisurely enjoy the natural scenery. The room is clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable, making you completely relaxed. Service and Experience The staff are warm and friendly, and the service is considerate. They are willing to help with many issues and make people feel at home. Overall Rating This is a truly relaxing, back-to-nature resort. If you are tired of the busy life in the city, this will be a good place to slow down and enjoy the tranquility. The hotel probably knew better days before COVID, and it is in need of some polishing. At the same time, I had a very pleasant stay: they provide free bicycles, the room is clean, rustic, and atmospheric. There is a road curving around the hotel but at least from where my house was located, I could not really hear any traffic. The village is very local, with great little eateries that serve delicious cheap meals. The Viewpoint in the 6fh floor of the main building indeed has a great view! Lady at the reception can speak a little English, and she helped me to arrange a taxi to the airport.

Didn't expect it to be so good. It's like staying at home, clean, no annoying sewer smell. There are cute pets to see, including rabbits, goats, ducks, geese, and chickens. The place is beautiful, really suitable for relaxation. Breakfast is good, not too much or too little. The dining room is warm, I like it very much. It's not stuffy, there's no food smell on you. The only downside is that the road to the accommodation is about 6 kilometers. There are no street lights at night. When it rains at night, you have to drive carefully.

The room booked this time was chosen as Comfy, a studio room. which is a residential building in the front area There is a kitchen part but no kitchen equipment. There is also a microwave in the room. There are also full amenities. Good atmosphere. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel.

Loved the hotel! It's like a large garden. The breakfast is also very good. The service is very simple. The waiters are very simple. It is suitable for secluded travel because it is not convenient to go in and out of the mountain. But it is suitable for those who like to stay away from the city.
