We absolutely loved our stay at Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai. The hotel is about a 30-min drive from Chiang Mai, nestled into a beautiful countryside with rolling hills. We booked the valley deluxe scenery room on the ground floor, which has a calming view of trees and mountains. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need; the bed is huge. The infinity pool overlooks a mountain with a white temple (worth a visit!). Food (Western and Thai) is delicious and reasonably priced. But what stood out above everything was how friendly the staff is here. We felt really welcome and well looked after. We'll definitely be back!

The boss is very enthusiastic and responsive. The restaurant food is also great. My son said that he would take the egg fried rice there home. We are accompanying the family. The boss also helped us contact the intermediary to find a room. It was great.

If you love nature, this place is more suitable than the hotels in the city. There is no noise from the airport, no noisy streets, only the leisurely fields, birds singing and flowers blooming. It is more convenient to go to Doi Inthanon and Doi Suthep than to stay in a hotel in the city. It was Christmas and New Year's Eve when I checked in, and it was particularly difficult to find a chartered car to Doi Inthanon. The female boss at the front desk who could speak Chinese (it seemed to be) kept helping me call and find a chartered car driver. She was very patient. I finally found one after searching for a long time, and she also helped me bargain. Thumbs up for the boss. 👍👍👍👍

Rooms with balconies have better views than rooms without balconies. There is a short climb from the parking area to the check-in area, and another short walk from the check-in area to the room. This time, the hotel staff were responsible for carrying the luggage. Without help, it would have been a very difficult journey. The room is very special, but the equipment is old. It can be experienced for one night

Max is the best owner you can ever find! He goes above and beyond for all his customers. Although location is a little far from city, therefore, occasional difficulty getting a Grab but Max will be there to save the day by helping us arrange transportation. Wifi wasn’t the best from our room but overall had a very pleasant stay!

Good location with someone who doesn't like chaotically and on the mountain with a shady atmosphere. Good reception. The owner is very kind. They can recommend you if u want to visit some places. The room is clean and big room.

The hotel probably knew better days before COVID, and it is in need of some polishing. At the same time, I had a very pleasant stay: they provide free bicycles, the room is clean, rustic, and atmospheric. There is a road curving around the hotel but at least from where my house was located, I could not really hear any traffic. The village is very local, with great little eateries that serve delicious cheap meals. The Viewpoint in the 6fh floor of the main building indeed has a great view! Lady at the reception can speak a little English, and she helped me to arrange a taxi to the airport.

After reacting, I moved 3.4 rooms away and the sound was a little quieter. The smell of formaldehyde in the room was a bit strong. I left the air conditioner on for a long time and didn't pay much attention. I don't know. Are you paralyzed? The sink in the bathroom looks modern but is extremely difficult to use. The water will splash all over the countertop and get wet. I want to go swimming the next night and I have to put on my bathrobe only to find a big hole in it. It’s ridiculous. Unable to use; the lady in the lobby answered the travel questions very perfunctorily and did not feel sincere; I originally planned to stay in Hangdong for 2 nights, focusing on Ban Taiwan Wood Carving Street and cycling around this town. Unfortunately, it backfired. There is no motorcycle rental anywhere, and the hotel's shuttle bus has limited time slots, so you can't fully enjoy your time due to limited time.
