In fact, it is not close to the airport. It takes 25 pounds to take a taxi from the airport. The hotel reserves a taxi to 15 pounds at the airport. The facilities are good, but willmslow is small and not very convenient. The environment is very good and very quiet.

I've been staying at this cracking little PI on an almost weekly basis for well over a year now and I can't fault it. The rooms are as you would expect from a PI - always spotless and the location is lovely and peaceful (as is the adjacent Green King pub and pretty garden) despite it's close proximity to Manchester airport and Handforth railway station. The staff are pretty awesome too but Thomas in particular is phenomenal. He picked up through a casual chat about 12 months ago that there is a room that I favour and more often than not he works his magicand even if he's not on duty I am in my usual ”suite” ;0) Tom is also fantastic when it comes to hospitality. Always chipper and with a smile on his face and he does everything he can to make my stays as pleasant as possible. The may sound a bit over the top but I really can't thank him enough and hope that the powers that be at Premier Inn HQ make a note of this and reward Tom for his excellence ASAP. Thanks again Tom, you're ace and make my time away from home all the more bearable!

My partner and I had a lovely stay here. We combined it with a walk in Styal and lunch at the Ship Inn, dinner at the Stolen Lamb and drinks in Alderley Edge! Lovely hotel, room was small but well equipped. TV unfortunately didn’t work. We didn’t eat at the hotel.

I discovered this hidden gem by accident. I had almost given up on finding a hotel that was close enough to the airport as well as to local shopping and had ac. There are only two things I have a problem with in regards to this place. Please note there is not an elevator or lift as the UK states. The other draw back is there is no way to shield the light in the bathroom area. It is hard to describe. There is a beautiful glass door to the right and left in the bath area with a sink in the middle of the space. If one has to get up to use the facilities the light being turned on glares in the face of the other one in bed. One other note is to be careful when closing the glass door. When I closed the door, my finger got closed in the door and it actually cut my finger below the cuticle. After 3 days, my finger is blue and sore. While the hotel is directly under the local airport's flight pattern, we never heard planes unless we were outside. The grounds are astounding as is the building itself. Make sure to check out the artwork throughout the place. If you like hidden staircases, watch out. The place appears to be kid friendly. There is a fabulous playground adjacent to the property. Make sure to purchase duck food for the locals. The bar, while somewhat limited in its offerings, was suitable for us. As to cost, the prices were comparable if not better than other bars/pubs we have visited.. We did not dine in the restaurant, but from what I say, the food looked amazing. The young man working reception was so very nice to help with our luggage as well as anything else we may have needed. The young ladies working in the bar were also very nice. In fact, they were so embarrassed by my asking to take their photo. They said no one had ever asked to take their photo.

For some it might be nice, but personally my self it was less then adequate. I was there for one night after flying in from the airport and needed a place to stay before catching the coach back home. Honestly Ive stayed in many hotels and this was by far the worst. The beds were way too soft and uncomfortable and very tiny for a single bed, you’d fall off if you moved too much. Decor was outdated, not to my taste. Wasn’t even greeted by the owner. when I did see her in the morning, she didn’t ask me anything or if we were ok had a nice stay etc. And the worst, I found personally was that they had no lifts, so I had two heavy luggage with me, so why would you give me a room on the top floor, knowing I would have two heavy luggage to carry? I was exhausted huffing and puffing carrying them to the top no one to help! Bad experience, over all I would never go there again! No response from host!

This is our second stay at this hotel. Check in excellent as always. Special thanks to Chris on reception. Our room was on the ground floor over looking the rear parking area. We had a drink in the bar which was busy but a nice atmosphere.We booked a stay and parking package the whole process was good. Our car was left on-site .As we were flying from terminal 2 we used the mini bus pick up service arranged by the hotel to take us the morning of our flight. No need if your flying from terminal 1 as it’s just a few minutes walk. Thanks for another excellent stay.
