The motel is older but very clean. Room included a kitchen, cooktop, microwave and refrigerator. Staff were extremely friendly. Great restaurant (Helen's) just down the street. Price was reasonable for the time of the year and less expensive than the Choice or Wyndham Hotels. We stayed for two nights and definitely would return.

If it weren’t for the chain smokers this place would be amazing. Clean, recently renovated, nearby to Acadia and for a reasonable price. However, they falsely advertise as smoke free. Multiple times per day there are many smokers directly outside smoking outside of rooms and leaving their cigarette butts everywhere. I write this with two women currently smoking immediately outside of our bedroom window- I am pregnant and this is posing a health risk to me and my unborn child. We would not have stayed here if we knew it would risk our health. I would strongly recommend that management not allow smoking here, or at least provide a heads up so non smokers can stay somewhere else that is safe for them.

Highly recommend & planning to stay again in August. After reading not so favorable comments we were pleasantly surprised. Spotlessly clean room, spacious, 2 queen beds, great tv options, fast WiFi, microwave, coffee maker & small fridge with freezer compartment. Desk with chair & lamp, nightstand w/lamp, 2 overhead lights very strong. Drape curtain kept early morning sun out. Ice machine down the walkway, outdoor small table & chairs combination. Room was on upper level so nice breeze & beautiful full moon. Office has couple of vending machines just outside & snack machine inside. Coffee in the morning. Bathroom looked newly remodeled. Very friendly employees. Much better prices than Ellsworth & quieter. Heading to Bar Harbor/Acadia Take the back way off Rte 1 at Douglas Highway to avoid lights in Ellsworth & first part of Route 3.

This was our second stay at this motel and will continue to be our go-to when visiting family in the area, There has been a lot of renovations, the rooms and campus are comfortable and spacious. The value is well worth the reasonable price.

Nice, clean, large room with stove top for cooking and a sink for cleaning up. Close to Acadia National Park. In the morning the coffee in the office was great. The lighting was very bright. (It was all lights or none.). It had nice blackout curtains.

Place is a dump. I usually disregard the best and worst reviews and find that places are in the middle. This place is poorly maintained, dirty and seems like some of the rooms have people living long term. Our room was dark, had no table or place to set suitcases. Additionally the outlet in the bathroom was shorted so they brought an extension to use. No floor rugs or mat so the floor was very slippery as it rain for a day snd a half. Our friends room had 4 LED ceiling lights that were so bright you needed to wear sunglasses while inside. Their room has a table and chairs but no where to hang anything. The rooms we’re supposed to be the same. They both were filthy so I guess that counts. The staff was friendly but because of the poor condition and dirty conditions I would highly recommend you avoid this place

Do not stay here . They are so dishonest. Had unexpected charges on my card after check in. We had prepaid through **********. He just shrugged when I went in to talk to them While talking to **********, their representative tried to call the front desk. I was standing in front of the employee while she called him and he ignored her call and refused to answer the phone even though I asked him to pick up the phone. In the end we checked out and ate the cost of one night. Room was misrepresented. Not nice at all and right on the highway. Very noisy.
