Kind was excellent. A really nice menu, superb wine list and great service from delightful staff. Will be back again as this was our first visit, Not pretentious at all but really excellent menu. We went for the alacarte rather than the tasting menu but was really nice. The Chablis and the st emilion was excellent

Really surprisingly great place and I’m quite choosy! Lovely staff, beautiful room, and they very kindly posted me a treasured possession I managed to leave behind. Lovely food too. I was really impressed.

My wife and I stayed one night on our way south. We arrived quite late, but were met by friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the annex which was very comfortable and quiet with the added novelty of an outdoor bath. The excellent service continued after we left as trainers we had left behind were posted back to us with the minimum of fuss. We very much look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a voucher from our daughters, which had expired due to my being in hospital. Hampton Manor we’re kind enough to roll it forward to 2025. Enjoyed our anniversary Sunday lunch. Started with scallops, which were superbly presented with a tasty sauce. Didn’t fancy a roast so both had skate: very tasty, again with a brilliant sauce. Desserts were equally good All in all a very pleasant experience. They even offered to box our surplus vegetables to form another meal at home.

Went for Sunday Lunch at Kynd to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. Having previously eaten at Grace and Savour, we were intrigued as to how the Chef would transfer his skills to a more comfort food based menu. All I can say is that he clearly is a talented chef that can turn his hand from comfort food to fine dining. On arrival we were met with a welcoming smile and as it was quite asked where we would like to sit. We both agreed that the food was well cooked, tasty and of a decent portion size. We shared the tipsy cake for dessert, this hit the spot perfectly and rounded off what felt like a very indulgent ingredient inspired meal. Will definitely go again later in the year once the menu gets changed for the new seasons.

Wish there was an extra star for this place
I've stayed at some amazing places, and experienced some out of this world cuisine, but this place is at another level, 15 course meal. Truly an outstanding overall experience.

If you’re looking for a spa, don’t book here
If you’re expecting a Spa, don’t bother , there isn’t one. There is a pamper room somewhere on the estate (apparently) but with no staff on site or facilities what so ever.
We booked a suite , the mini bar was empty there were broken electronics in the room and card key broke several times over the 2 days. As well as this, there were stains on the carpet and the decor was in desperate need of updating.
To top it off the night porter let us out for a cigarette and then locked up the building g which meant we were stuck outside in the icy weather from 11:45 pm to 1:45 in the morning and the hotel phone was set to voicemail!
Other than that the other staff were lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable!

Highly recommend
Unbelievable stay. Me and my wife went for a staycation and it didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing, the ambience was good. Nice and relaxing. Smoke - restaurant unbelievable and the service was very good. Only bug bear was you could hear airplanes due to the close proximity to the airport. But didn’t stop us from having a great time.
