Best Western offers a safe, affordable option in the Chicago/Gary area. Our room was clean, well kept, and had a comfortable bed. The hotel's interior and exterior are in good condition. Breakfast was great and changes daily. We also had a great dinner at Byway Brewing Co., about a mile away.

Clean hotel friendly staff. Good variety of breakfast but items ran out and pool is outside. Good value for the location it's in. This review requires a minimum of 200 characters which is not easy to do so I'm just going to fill it up with saying nice things like have a great day! Enjoy your week and if you're looking for a place near Chicago, this is certainly the place for you.

Hampton Inn typically provide a wonderful experience for their guests. I’ve always enjoyed their beds, very, very comfortable and their breakfast is always spot on, coffee is gourmet and their waffles are some of the tastiest actually better than some restaurants. Was a solid experience the bathroom was a little beat up but overall, we would go back nice location with restaurants close by.

This hotel is not a good place to stay. I usually like Best Western, but this one was very dirty. The bathroom had hair in the shower, ants on the floor and a door that wouldn't close properly. It was obvious the room had not been cleaned recently. There wasn't even a full roll of toilet paper. The hallway had not been vacuumed and the elevator floor was disgusting.

We always request a floor above the 1st floor because it seems to have a better smell & the rooms just seem more comfortable. We are always satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms, it's quiet, bed is comfortable, the heat & air work perfect & the curtains keep the rooms nice & dark when we sleep. My fiancé & I come 2-3 times a year to have a kid free relaxing weekend & we are always very satisfied with everything during our stay.

I stayed in this Best Western while in the Hammond area for business. I typically stay down the road in the other hotels but decided to give this Best Western a shot for a three-night stay. The hotel is a good choice for a budget-friendly stay. The staff was accommodating when I checked in and they recognized my Best Western status. The hotel overall is a bit dated and could use an update, however, my room was clean and large and I got a good sleep. The decor in the rooms like the rest of the hotel is dated and could be upgraded. As a business traveller, there are many places to plug in your devices, and connection to wifi was seamless. The wi-fi signal was very strong and I had no issues connecting multiple devices to the wi-fi. The fitness center was below my standards as some of the equipment didn't even work, and not only that, the equipment was limited. The fitness center could use an overhaul. Overall a problem-free stay in a budget-friendly Best Western

Although its an older hotel, it was clean and friendly. The construction nearby made travel a pain , but we were going to a concert at the Hard Rock ****** so we used Uber with no hassles. Overall a pleasant experience.
