When I first suggested Tunisia as a holiday destination, my wife was a little reluctant. But it offered what appeared to be a lot for your money compared to other destinations so our first visit was booked. Now, home from a truly enjoyable experience, I thought it only right to leave a review. The week we spent at Tui Magic Life Africana was probably one of the most relaxing holidays in recent memory. Right from our arrival, I felt at home and at ease. The staff on site are a credit to both the company and the country. Everybody seemed genuinely happy to be there working and nothing was too much trouble. I have never seen so many staff proactively looking to ensure guests are content and happy with the food, drinks or service. Though not required, we always left small tips after each meal and this really elevated our experience. We had our table reserved for us each day without having to ask, drinks orders were remembered and my daughter was showered with attention no matter which waiter was working. The food was fresh and varied and there was always something great to eat, even for a party that included a vegetarian and the odd intolerance. We ate at all 3 specialty restaurants during our week and again the food was great at each one. If I had to pick I would say Lavante was my stand out as you get to dine on the rooftops of the hotel and watch the sunset whilst you dine. Everywhere was clean and tidy, never felt too busy, was easy to get food and drinks whenever you wanted and just overall a really nice place to be. We got involved with lots of activities whilst we were there, my 3 year old daughter loved the shows and getting out on the sea in a canoe. I must shout out the staff one final time though as its often the people that can make or break a hotel. In all my years vacationing all across the world this was quite possibly the friendliest people I have had the pleasure to look after me and my family. To all Tui Magic Life Africana we would like to say a massive THANK YOU. We loved every moment and we were all genuinely sad to leave you. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.
